Experiences with Eurasia Body Shop in Toronto??
I've got 41,000 kms on the car without a scratch (mostly because I park miles away from everyone else). My wife takes the car out to her mother's yesterday - my wife's put about a total of 200kms on the car. And guess what happens? My mother-in-law backs into it. Arrggghhh! The front bumper cover is toast and there's a small scratch and small dent where the front bumper cover meets the side panel, just in front and above the wheel.
I called Scarboro Mazda and they recommended Eurasia which is right next door to them. I trust Scarboro Mazda and so I trust their recommendation. I wanted to check here to see if there were any experiences with Eurasia.
Through searching this forum, I see high praise for Velocity Auto Body. But they're in Markham and so a little inconvenient for me.
Thanks for any help. I'm rather depressed today.

show me the love for the car and take it to anywhere that's the "best" choice for you without worrying about an extra 30 mins of traveling time=)!!!!

Point taken TurboEight.
But if Eurasia is as well thought of as Velocity, I'll go to Eurasia. I'm going there this aft to get an estimate. I'll see what I think of them and probably go up and get an estimate from Velocity tomorrow.

Velocity is quite good and they used to have a coupon on their site too, don't know if the coupon is still there or not. Or I suppose it doesn't matter so much if you haggle yourself anyways.
I've gotten quotes from Eurasia before, and the only reason I didn't go to them is because they charge quite a bit more than Velocity. I'd suggest getting an estimate from both before deciding if the convenience is worth it.

I got an estimate from both. Velocity was a little less than Eurasia but seems like a much less professional outfit in my opinion. My insurance company recommended Grand Touring over on Caledonia. Very professional and a lot less hassle when going through insurance. Ins company doesn't need to send an adjuster out, Grand Touring looks after the rental. I'd trust my car with them. That's where I'm going. If they don't do a good job, I'll yell at the insurance company to make it right.
None of these places will do my calipers though. I was hoping to get a little treat for all this hassle (I should actually charge my mother in law for it but she thinks I'm not that kind of guy...I've got her completely fooled!). I guess I'll do the calipers myself. Just about to do some searches on DIY caliper painting.
