I know.. I'm doing that Gecko. I regret selling my stock airbox to you. Not to you part, but the fact that I sold it. I didn't really sell it cause I needed cash, but it was bulky and sitting around doing nothing and I don't have a lot of room at home.
Now I am trying to find a stock intake to buy locally.
Thief said he's going to check out his kit to make sure he has all the parts. Maybe he could sell to me.
I know how to take the MS CAI OFF, but now I'm not so sure as to how to the stock airbox back on. It looks more complicated

Putting the stock box back in should be pretty simple, you just want to make sure you reconnect the vacuum lines that they hid underneath it. I think they are the ones that go to the VFAD (but i could be wrong on that one).
Good luck!

I'm going to check out what Eddie has on Sunday, I'm not exactly sure how to see what parts I need, I'm constantly referring back and forth from technical manuals/documents to see what bolts/clips/plugs/elbows whatever small parts I need to get the stock intake back in.
Do you recall, when I gave you the pieces, did I have everything to give to you? Or was I missing ****?

Sure I'm cool with that.I hope the part arrives soon. It's coming from Ottawa on Tuesday via Greyhound, so I should have it before Saturday. I only have a party to attend Saturday night, so anytime before that I am okay.
I have already studied the front bumper removal and the whole stock intake system, so I can definitely be of use. I know for sure you can do this thing blindfolded... I have a socket wrench set now so tools are good. I don't have jack stands or jack though (except for the trunk one).
I really appreciate your help in this!

Perhaps you should switch to a ghetto cone filter / short ram intake for the winter months. The engine bay never get hot enough to be an issue, and it will take care of all your MS CAI problems.

It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get from where I live to Markham. That also depends on where in Markham you're going to. I'm south of Markham, so if you go to the far north of Markham, might take 40 minutes.
Safest is probably to do this in the underground garage where I live, at least we'll be sheltered from the elements that way.

Thanks Chris, and it's also useful to have a "REFERENCE STOCK INTAKE" to look at... There's this U-shaped metal piece about 8 inchs in size that I still dont' know where it goes...
I'm picking up the intake today from greyhound delivery service after work. I will give it a good scrub down and clean all the components.

^ They're pretty clean, just slightly dusty Only about 20,000KM on that intake.
Would be funny if that pipe had nothing to do with the intake and was just somehow in the box I think it probably goes somewhere behind the intake box though.
