Yup it really seems to be. I have my OEM intake still, stored at my cottage. But I think I am going to swap MS CAI for the jetstream one, seems good for the price, performance (being the same as others) and sounds. I need some sound, stock is boring

If you need a hand let me know, I will be around till 2 when I am going to scarb mazda for maintenance. But I am a bit sick still so I wouldn't know until the morning to see how I feel.

We should have a comp...Footman and Gecko (Footman's car) vs. Rev and I (Rev's car) and see who can get their cars bumper off the fastest hehe. I say 30min tops

it's really not that hard to remove the front bumper... we did it last year at one of the mod meets in about 10 -15 minutes.. not having washer fluid spew all over the place is another story..

I just took mine off and swung it to the passenger side leaving the washer fluid hoses connected. Easier

From experience, needed two vice grip clamps (one on each side) to clamp the fluids. I'm almost empty on my tank, and it didn't fill it up because I'm anticipating the install on Saturday.

I've only assisted in removing the bumper once or twice, but I have studied the online video for the rx8 bumper removal. I watched that **** like 4 - 5 times already so that I have the location of the bolts/clips memorized.

Gecko, what time you coming on Sat? I have the intake now, I just have to clean it tonight and make sure the screens are good inside.

You have my cell number right?

No, I am comming down in the mazda 6. The pulley is on the car for good. I dont have the time to get it off without ruining it and its not worth the hassle to be honest. Jay do you want these winter rims?? Saturday will be your chance to get them. I can have them off and ready to go by tomorrow. I NEED to know tonight though and I need a meeting spot and time we can meet you. I dont want to go thru all the hassle we did trying to find a date/time when we were trying to get you down here for the pulley. So again, my appointment is at 1 to se the car...I will be there for a bit. Andrew, I am talking to my wife tonight about stopping by.....I am assuming my time will be limited anyways, but if you can get the bumper off I can help with the stock intake install. Jay let me know!!!

I can get the bumper off. First time doing it by myself, hopefully my studying of the video pays off... so you want me to pop the bumper off and just wait?

I have no cell phone reception in my underground parking eh? So we need to determine a time you will stop by ASAP. I can't take the bumper off and leave it sitting there unattended for too long; cause I have to come up and get cell phone reception so you can call me when you have arrived so I can get the parking pass for you to come down.

No issues yesterday, car was outside all day, even drove out farther for the Mazda 3 La Paloma meet, (those guys are insane for doing an HID install outside in the parking lot), drove back, and she starts up fine.

The morning winds dried everything up.. so despite it being cold, no problems.... because the key word here is DRY.
