Forks of the Credit

Forks of the Credit
So, I checked this place out today. Yes I drove all the way from Scarborough there Darkbrew!!!
I went around Mississauga Rd. Forks of the Credit Rd. McLaren Rd. and went all around some of the inner streets like Scott Ave., King St., Caledon Hills Rd., and Creditview Rd.
It's an okay drive, the twisty sections are too short.... not enough bends. The most memorable was on Forks of the credit Rd, there is this sharp 80 degree twist uphill going westbound. I can see how people can get killed, or slide off the road in the winter if they decide to go there.
Anyways, I wasn't that impressed. Does anyone have other recommendations for good driving roads with good viewpoints? It's really hard to find a place comparable to the likes of say "Burnaby Mountain" and "Prospect Point" in Vancouver, BC.

I didn't think that you would ever venture this far west...
Any road with more than a couple of curves and a hill becomes a driver's road in this flat square province.

Okay, I just dropped by Kennedy Comons to check something out, and on the way, The Tim Hortons there, was the Toronto Nissan club meet. I went in to check things out. Those guys are really party animals, they do a lot of crazy stuff... seems like a lot of fun though. Then the cops showed up, and hid in a far corner to stop people from peeling out, or doing donuts and **** in the Timmie's parking lot.
I spoke to a guy there, who had a Sunlight Silver '04 RX8. I think his handle here is "Solitude". He said there's a road called "King Side Road" that's also a nice drive.
Where is that?

Forks used to be a nice place to drive around. But it has gotten very popular over the years with the bikers and 'tourists'. Go further up north on hwy 10 and visit the Mono Hills area. I used to do winter TSD rally there.
If you venture even more west, you drive on Derry rd until it reaches the foothills of the Enscarpment. Some nice roads there too. I think it's call Snake Rd. Yes, wiggly as a snake I suppose... unless it refers to the Mississauga snake.
And yes, Ont. has some of the boringest roads unfortunately....

^ Snake Rd. is in a bad state, locals don't even want to fix it to get ride of the traffic. Used to be a favorite though.

...many good roads though, look at biker sites and you'll always find a list of 'em.

I 2nd Hwy 13 North of Severn Bridge - Up there 2 weeks ago with some biker friends - one guy dropped his bike.
There were quite a few bikes there - although I would say they were slower than the 8 through the corners.
I would leave a friend with an R6 within 2 turns.
33kms of 2nd, and 3rd gear twists and turns.
Best road for a few 100km's I say.
There are other curvy roads out there, but you need to travel far over the posted limit to even approach the limits of the car.
Pulled out of the paper - Matawatchen Road - 17 km - Between Griffith, and Calabogie.
Hwy 518 has some good sections between 69, and 11.
Hockley valley road is a favorite.
There are also some good sections around mono centre.
Generally though the roads suck in ontario.
Pay the money and spend a day lapping at the track.
