meh ... I think that's asking too much. For a 2005, I'd pay AT MOST 20,000 everything in.

Sounds okay to me.. have a peek at Autotrader.ca for our area (dealers included in there) and this will seem like a screaming good deal. I know a guy trying to offload his 04 (40K km) for 28. Sunroof, no warranty, synthetic oil for half its life (not the 1st half either).. and a dead headlight.

But what do I know. I'm bitter cause I bought new.

thanks dude, I am not 100% sure i'm gonna pick it up as of yet because I'd rather just buy one closer to spring (~feb-march).

Initial depreciation is pretty steep on a Rx-8 and the dealer trade in value for a 2005 is b/w 19-20k so i think paying around 23k all in for a 2005 is pretty fair to the seller.

I'm seriously considering just importing a 2006 for around 25k on the road.

the price is fair assuming the car is in good condition. Not sure where you are, but in BC, rx-8 prices are no where that cheap! 05 go for mid to high 20s.
