Group Buy: Hoen H11 xenonmatch fog lamps

Who in the GTA would like to join me in buying these fog lamps? www.hoen-usa.com
They are $33 each, but the shipping is $21.

The reason I am asking is so I could split the shipping costs. Thus the more people, the less shipping will be.

I am aiming for 4 - 5 people to bring the shipping cost down to $4-5.

Why dont you get super yellow ones? Just wondering...

Also, does this matches the STOCK OEM HID? or 6000k?

Thanks

This matches the stock HID's roughly 4000 - 4300k. I'm not into the JDM yellows.

Hi Footman, count me in for this. I don't currently use the fog lights because I hate the fact they don't match.

No HID fogs for me.

As for LEDs, I'm about to place an order from www.vleds.com. I last posted a group buy, and no one was interested in them, so I'm going solo.

The ones I have in my car are from www.superbrightled.com. The reason I switch is not because those are bad quality, but because vleds has a larger DE3175 dome light in red. They have a 16 M-SMT LED for the dome in RED!!! That's seriously bright!

No one was interested eh? I guess me and Jay don't count. Just go solo. We'll do our own thing.

I wanna go 6000K for my 8 headlight setup, I just dont like the faint yellow tint in the stock lights. I wanna go 6000K for the white light with a tint of blue, I recommend 5000K, since it will be pure white.

I need to do more research, but in the meantime Im gonna be doing my interior lights in led, along with the tails.

Looking at vleds/rx8strake group buy.

I'm not in the GTA...but I wouldn't mind paying for shipping from toronto to Winnipeg...as that's most likely cheaper still than shipping from US to winnipeg.

I'm interested in the GB for the Fogs, the LED and those angel eye rings XD

Why dont you guys just do HID's in the fogs? Its about 100 bucks a pop for 6000K and they match the low beams really good.

PS: Jay, those Halos are rice beyond beilief.... please stay away.

Joshua,

These are $33 USD each, shipping is $21 USD. Info is posted on first post. As for best practice, I don't get what you mean? There are really no absolute best fogs, it all comes down to how much you're willing to pay, and what kind you want (HID/non-HID) and what color temperature. From what I have read on the forum and seen from pics, the Hoen fogs are very popular (like Tein S-techs and RB Revi intakes)

PM me, i can get them for you. Its the same ones I have in my fogs and low beams and have no problem. takes about 1.5 weeks to get here. The install is fairy simple. The only real downside is finding a suitable spot to mount the ballasts. I had fabbed up brackets using back strapping material and secured it above the oil coolers.

Agent008,

Looks like it's just you and I. At least we can split the shipping down to half

I work near Vaughan Mills, so you can drop by and pick them up sometime during the work weekday at my office. I figure that is closest to you.

Just need your final confirmation for the OKAY, and I will order.

You have to bend them down a bit to get the bulbs to fit.

Fob bulb replacement: FAILED.

I took the wheel liner off, and reached in, with my best effort, I can't twist it off. Damnit, I don't have the leverage to do it in an awkward position. I can't put my head under the car without lifting the front. I simply don't have the tools to do this.

I need jack stands and hydraulic lift to get the front up so I could go underneath. My fingers are all sore and red from the struggle of trying to twist off that damn fog bulb. Why the hell is it so tight in there and it's at such an awkward angle too!

Sucks to live in a condo. You're not allowed to have those tools to work on in the basement.
