that sucks! What about just driving up on some 2 x 4's and turn the wheels all the way to one side? Gives ya a little extra height and room to work. That's all I did to remove my front bumper when I put on my CAI.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of removing the front bumper. I can remove the wheel well liner and turn the wheel all the way that's no problem. But I need to bring the car up for sure...
ramps and chock or jack stands and lift, both are fine...

please help!

Jay, you're proposing to do the fog light install right IN FRONT OF Scarboro Mazda? Isn't that like ratting down on their business, like "I don't want to pay you $90/hour to do this because I can do it right in front of you?" That's kinda mean eh?

I wouldn't be doing that personally.

If you can't get it done today, I'm around tomorrow if you still need a hand.

I didn't try to do it today, it was wet everywhere. you need to be laying on your back on the ground and get real dirty.

I did the DIY foglight rewire instead and it worked. There is an extra step for Canadian models having to do with the DRL module.

Now I can independently use the foglights whenever I want. With this method, the foglights will work as long as the key is at ACC or beyond. This way you can't accidently drain the battery by leaving it on because if you shut your car off, it'll cut power to the fogs.

Still need jackstands and a hydraulic to lift front end to do the bulb swap. That one is a mother ****** to do.... very tight.

Attempt #2

2nd attempt was successful. I used the emergency jack, but refrained from sticking my head underneath the front just in case. This allowed to me to get better leverage. I can now "sit" and reach in. Before I had to lay on my back in order to reach in.

Took the connectors off the fogs, and then they came out just like that with a medium amount of pressure twist.

Hoen's look real good!

Now I have a pair of STOCK fogs used for 1 year only for sale! Who's got a blown bulb?
