Groupbuy on Idemitsu Premix
Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy some Idemitsu Premix, and the only places I have found it are online, and charge at least $41 for shipping (while a 12 pack costs $65). I was wondering if anyone is the alberta area was interested in doing a group buy on it to reduce the shipping costs. If you're in Calgary, we can meet up somewhere so you can get it, and if you're outside Calgary (depending on location) I could either ship it or meet you somewhere.
The premix can be done at 4ml per litre (0.5oz per gallon), which means you should get about 50-60 fillups from a 12 pack.
Let me know if anyone is interested... Price will be approximately $8-12 per person that joins the group buy.

Likely close to $45 from Calgary to Vancouver. You'd be best ordering directly from http://rx7.com/store/rx8/rx8engine_maintenance.html.
I'm still looking for somewhere to buy it cheaper, so if I find anywhere, I'll let you know, and I would definitely ship it out for you then (since buying locally+shipping to bc would be cheaper than buying online)

Thanks for the link. Check with your local rotary / rx7 clubs see if they know a local place that sells it , if not then there might be non. I'm pretty sure I can't buy it locally in Vancouver and just use Yamalube for now.

IME you won't get group discounts on these because shipping is per-crate and you don't get a price break from shipping companies. It's not like you can fit more than one in the same size box.

Although you won't get a discount on it, you will end up paying less per crate, if you buy more crates...
1 Cases=106.35
2 Cases=196.74
5 Cases=468.90
9 Cases=827.61
You will save $7.98 each, if you buy two cases instead of one. If five people buy cases (all shipped to one address), you will each save $12.57. And if nine people buy, everyone saves $14.39.
Obviously it isn't huge savings, but $8-15 is a bit less that you have to pay on your next tank of gas
