Good stuff!!
haha... ya that's another story Apparently it has to get spinning then it hits. I took it back got another one which had instructions telling me that (go figure), tried that one (in the parking lot) which worked, but the switch for L R was really a pain in the *** to switch back and forth, so took it back got another one, that was completely fuked, grinding gears etc then just stopped working...so said *** it and got my money back urg cause I like the concept and for the price.

So April Sunday the 12th? is good for the ppl that said they are going?
I can start a new (less confusing) thread (or anyone else can if they like) about this first meet, as long as the date is confirmed.

I think we are still waiting on Jay to confirm unless i missed that.
marc, what impact gun are you talking about? Just so i know what ones to stay away from. lol. I have a nice low torque one that i bought from canadian tire that is just awesome. I use it all day at work, came with two batteries so you never have to wait for a charge. its good for about 80ft/lbs so its not something you can use to do wheels or suspension work, but its pretty nice for everythign else.

Yeah, Jay seemed to indicate that all three dates were fine but want him to confirm the 12th.
The 12th is good for the shop, the 19th is a bit more tricky because he wants to race that day, so we would need to get to him before he left. So I am hoping that the 12th will work.
Thumper, shipping address is the one one published through Tirerack

thunder... it's red with rims ms exhaust, intake, bodykit, clear corners custom fiberglass box between the back seats and fiberglass box with 2 tens in the trunk all painted to match the car. I'm also getting a custom gauge pod made for me also fiberglass and painted red and when done I'm getting my turbo installed at rpm in two weeks.

Appearantly the apex seals in the renesis are much shallower than those of the older 13B engines and thus not up to the job of handling boost like the other engines were. also, the renesis is really not an engine about making power. its been highly compromised to produce acceptable emissions and therefore, in my opinion, not worth even trying to make more power with it.
that being said, if i was gonna get a turbo installed, i would definitly go to RPM to do it (if i wasn't doing it myself). i trust that they know their stuff, and if they didnt try and talk you out of it imidiately, then its probably not as big a deal as i think it is.

Greg... I think Alex has the greddy kit and he said he was able to pass emissions without an issue.
Chris... the bigger problem with the turbo is (as Greg mentioned) the stock apex seals... they're just not up to dealing with large amounts of boost. So... I guess it all depends on how much you're thinking of running. As long as you keep it low you shouldn't have too many problems if Alex's experience is anything to go by.
I'd kill for a turbo.. but... I just can't deal with all the extra money that you have to sink into it to ensure that it's not going to randomly blowup on you.

I was going to run about 6 pounds and I think the engine should be able to handle that. I love the way the turbo sounds and I can use the extra power also.
