Help!
Alright Canadian Mazda fanatics...
Mazda Canada continues to ride the coattails of Mazda USA in saying it supports Mazda-based motorsports. This is not true. Mazda Canada refuses to support Canadian based Mazda racing teams and the US says "talk to Mazda Canada for support options" so we're getting nowhere. Please "Like" Mazda Canada's Facebook page and "Like" my comment (Jason Cuthbertson) after their latest question "How important is motorsports content to you?".
We are the only full-time professional Mazda race team in Canada and aim to compete in World Challenge, Grand Am, and the Canadian Touring Car Championship this year. Regardless if you support us or have a goal of competing yourself at some level in Canada your opinion needs to be heard! Tell Mazda Canada we all deserve some level of factory support ourselves!!!
Thanks, Jason

I don't use social network sites. Facebook ftl.
I hear you though, Mazda does comparatively better in the north too.
Maybe let us know the Race Team Info and we can send e-mails their way also. Well at least I will.

Done!
It might increase your visibility if you actually provide some information on your team (at the very least a website link).

OP, you should talk to 01Racing. He echos the exact same statement you made too. He ran a race car and worked as a General manager at a Mazda dealership in Canada. He tells us that he got no love from Mazda Canada either at all.

I remember Mazda sponsoring all kinds of things like the hotimportnights, NHRA, lagunaseca, mx5cup, USF2000 National Championship, Star Mazda Championship, Atlantic Championship, Star Mazda, Skip Barber, Speed World Challenge, Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, American Le Mans Series, go karts, and the only team I have ever really noticed that Mazda supports is open wheel racing/apex or ipex or something like that. As far as I can remember they don't really support "teams"/ Looks like you need to get a hold of Don Romano.

I'd forget about Mazda Canada. They're run by accountants who truly have no interest in motor sport. It's pretty much a farce that they use the Zoom Zoom slogan up here as well. Most likely so that they can reuse the US adverts (you know.. the ones which the tout how much they're behind the weekend warriors).
At least there's always Mazdaspeed Motorsports http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/ which is apart of Mazda North American Operations...
