Exclamation HELP Please

I recently had my radiator flushed in my 2006 Mazda MVP and i never had any kind of cooling problem or overheating problems until after I had my car flushed at the local mechanic shop. My car calls for fl22 coolant and the shop put xerox g-05 coolant which i heard isn't compatable. About two weeks later my van has been overheating and smoke has been coming from under the hood. I had to get it towed home. Could them putting xerox g-05 coolant and not fl22 coolant cause my vehicle to do this? All i done to my vehicle since I had it flushed at the shop was check my oil. Even my reservoir is completely empty. I loosened the radiator drain plug to look at the color of the coolant that came out and it was dark grey. The flush was done on 6-16 and today is 7-3. Should the coolant color be dark grey after only that short period? Please help me... Thanks. And do yall think the mechanic shop may be liable for what's going on?

IMHO. Coolant should not be a issue, is it the green or yellow? Take it back too who did the service, reservoir should not be empty! Sound like they did not flush the system if fresh coolant is grey, sound like they drained & refilled.
By the way it's zerex g-05 and this is a rotary engine forum not the best place for this question.
