hey all
newbie here, I currently own a Mazda MX6 and I must say that I really luv this car.
But she is gettin old and I'll be looking soon for a replacement.
The RX8 seems to be an awesome replacement (I've never test driven one) but I do like the looks and the car seems to be getting some gr8 reviews.
Any members here ever own an MX6 and switch to the RX8? some feedback would be much appreciated.

Hey, I own a 1993 MX-6 LS and 2004 RX8 GT; both great cars. I kept my MX-6 for the winters because it still works great, and you won't get any money for it if you do sell it. Good luck,

Go drive one!
If you can test drive one that is used, you can drive it a lot harder while testing it. You would not want to do that to the one you purchase before it is broken in.

ZE cams
ported intake manifold
intake/exhaust
Zex 55shot
CM stage 1 race clutch - Lightened mx3 flywheel - short shifter
woodgrain interior
Absolutely 100% loved my mx6.
Got an 8

My mom has a 96 mx6 LS or something. Nice car. Drives agreeably. Engine was smooth. 2.5l v6 was it? can't remember. prefered it over the Ford Probe twin.

I had an 1984 626GT and a 1988 MX6 GT. Loved both cars, and I love the RX8. I kept my MX6 GT for 9 years before it started to wear out. I also did consider the newest version of the MX6, but the RX8 won out. I'm on my 3rd Mazda!
