The other day, I ran the tank dry. (And yes I know it's a bad idea. Never again!)

Drove up to Barrie, with the empty light on for about half the trip (about 50km or so). Got there, and we were heading back across town, where my dad offered to fill me up at Costco. I thought I'd make it, so we jump on the highway. We're most of the way there, and the engine sputters. I'm thinking "maybe I can get another km still, come on!!!", but it starts to sputter a *lot*. I get off at the exit right there, which luckily has a station right at the bottom. Well I made it, but interestingly, when I tried to rev it over 2, the engine would choke really hard. But if I kept it under 2, it pulled smoothly. (So there's your trick to keep it going for another 50m or so. :D )

Anyway, that tank took me about 450km. Beat that!

I just got 480 K (295 mi) on a tank. I haven't refilled it yet to find out how much I used. The best I've gotten before was 400K

I've managed a little over 500km, but that was on a road trip down to Washington, D.C., which was a lot of secondary highway driving just under the 100 km/h mark (for fuel efficiency).

Here at home, I consistently get around 400km before the low fuel warning light comes on, and it takes just under 10L of fuel at that point to refill.

I made about 490km once all highway. The last km I was sweating bullets praying I wouldn't run out and die on the side of Highway 2.

In my ordinary city driving I probably get half that this time of year (******* winter!)

I've only put a tank and a half in mine before I put her away for the winter, but I (apparently somehow) managed about 430km to the 1/4 left mark, and I had forgotten to keep track after I fuelled . I didn't do much highway, mostly 80km/h roads and some in town short trips too. I also wasn't taking it easy either, but I wasn't that hard, I definitely was enjoying the car as much as I could before she went away to hibernate. Still, she's WAY better on gas than my Xterra...

I did 554 km on a tank once on a road trip, filled 54 litres 9.9 l/100km
Least ever was winter 315km to the light 15 l/100km

Typical is 400km in summer, 370km in colder weather

In winter I get around 8.5l/100k in my Jetta 550km on 46.7 litres

I'll get anywhere from 265km to 340 km on a tank. Best I've done is 375 km! I do about 85% city driving.

I filled up today and used 48.8 liters of fuel.
My trip back today was 400 K and the red light hasn't come on yet. I was traveling at speeds between 110 and 125 kph.

Not sure how much of an effect Manual vs Automatic makes to your mileage. I have the Manual.

I get approx 400kms per tank... My problem is that I love the exhaust sound past 5k while under load . After a tough day at work my drive home is with the radio off... Such a nice and relaxing drive.

I get 0 km per any fluid measure you like, watching my car warm up in the driveway. thru the frost on the living room window. It's -15 C in Winnipeg today. Tried the Dunlop winter tires and they are awesome in the snow. But now that there's salt on the road, time to put the baby away for the winter. Sigh. Can't wait for spring and those 320 kms per tank.

Here in the north east of the states I get about 234mi, so roughly 380km to the tank. I dont run the tank bone dry though. I can probably squeeze out some more but who knows. I am not driving this car for its gas mileage
