I live in Florida...............I have no concept of this "hot and humid" of which you speak.

probably no worse than any other car. turbo or supercharged cars are more affected by hot/thin air than n/a cars. back in the days, rod millen ran an fc up pikes peak. it was a 20b turbo

I just happened to read something today. Looks like my earlier comment i wrong, but it doesn't make sense to me:
"Humidity is a lot like temperature in this regard. As the water vapor content in the air increases, horsepower values tend to drop because the water vapor takes the place of oxygen molecules in the combustion chamber."

My 8 sometimes sits for 2 weeks even in summer months and still starts no problem, and I have the original starter.

So all you guys complaining about how hot and humid it is do you also complain how cold and dry it is in the winter??

Nope, because I enjoy the winter snowboarding.

It's not the hot weather, it's the humidity if anything that makes it twice as bad. Yesterday it was hot as usual here in the high 90's, but humidity dropped off and a breeze was around which was fine with me.

My car seems fine, only thing I did notice last week when it was Really hot, was the fan ran longer after I turned it off. It almost never does that.

Hope it cools down a bit for track day...woot woot track day can't wait!!
