I Love The Snow

Besides the fact that even with winter tires our cars are from snow machines, I must say I love the snow.

I went out and started my car yesteray during the snow storm to drive my Grandma somewhere........and my engine light finaly went out.

On another note: I saw 4 cars spin out all around me, and three bad accidents in my 10KM drive.

Corollas Suck: Last night I was driving down ninth line and everyone was going about 40KM/H in the snow, I am in the right lane and I notice a car riding my ***. As soon as the left lane opens up he goings flying by me and is probably driving around 65KM/H on a road that is nothing less then pure ice. I am approaching a 90 degree corner and I call that he will wipe out in this corner. Sure enough, he half spins out. Worst part, he straightens out and guns it again up to 70KM/H or so. We approach a 'S' bend and I again call that he won't make it. Of course he wipes out into the ditch this time. Worse part is he panicks, throws it in reverse, and cuts in front of me and a van in the oncoming lane causing us both to swerve onto the snow covered shoulder to miss him.

CRVs Suck: On another stretch of road, I was approaching a 90 degree corner and I noticed headlights approaching me way too fast. I took the corner as quickly as I safely could in the snow knowing the vehicle behind me could not stop in time on the ice. Sure enough the car flew by the back of me in a 4 wheel skid, ran straight through the corner, over the shoulder and crashed into a 10 foot high berm. The driver then put it in reverse, pulled back on the raod and continued to follow me......all the while I'm crapping my pants that at every stop sign this jackass will not kill me.

Then there is the Accord that narrowly avoided blowing through the intersection of highway 7 and 9th line. He stoped sideways 1/4 of the way through the intersection.

By the time I got home I was a combination fo this and this

Thats the whole thing. I'm not so much worried about me, it's the ******* in the Escalade besdie me who thinks he's driving a Panzer tank or the moron in the tuner civic or VW who thinks that if s/he goes faster, the car will somehow float over the ice. fuggin idiots. You know what's funny though....usually the ******** I notice are driving big sedans with no snows on...why???

I find the bigger the car, the bigger the idiot...

People with SUVs think they're immune to snow cuz they have 4WD/AWD. I don't think they realize that moving in the cold weather is the problem...it's the stopping part that gets you in trouble.

the problem is a mix between peoples stupidity and the automotive industries ability to take advantage of that. they advertise how safe a car is. Air bags, Super handling AWD, ABS, Traction Control, stability control...poeple think that shitty weather doenst matter anymore. no one slows down. if anything, the dumb drivers get dumber when the snow falls. they follow closer, speed more and are just generally ******** to a much higher degree. my friend was telling me about some idiot passing her going up a hill while she was slightly sideways trying to make it up the hill in her GMC 1500. doesnt that just scream dangerous? a full size truck is barely able to make it up a hill, and is sideways in the lane and you think its safe to pass them in those conditions? forget the fact that you are passing someone cresting a hill. forget that the roads are obviously icy...there is a vehicle on the verge of a full on loss of control and you just drive around it? and put you Fing cell phones down in this sort of weather!!!! ill stop now before i really start to rant.

also, mike, i suggest you stop driving. lol. you must have a target on your head or something to see all that in one outing.
