IS this illegal ?
Is parking in a plaza for 12 hours everyday while you go to work across the street illegal ? Parking for the work place is expensive !! Which is why im considering parkking at the local timmies across the street then crossing over there and leaving my car there for the whole day. Illegal ??

probably not a good idea
most lots are reserved for customer use only and I'm sure they'll notice an RX--8 parking there every day.
one day you're going to come out and your car will not be there thanks to Mr. Tow Truck

Yeah, it's a bad idea to do that.... I believe most of the parking lot have a sign saying how long you can park there..... maybe 3 hours customer parking or sth...... so yeah, if you are parking there for 12 hours everyday, that's going to be a problem for sure....

I suppose it depends on how big the lot is and how busy it gets there. If it is a small lot, and it gets really busy at times, then yea you run the risk of getting towed. If it doesn't get busy, or if it is a big lot, then you might just get away with it.

The Timmie's lot is private property, so they can tow you if they think you are interfering with their customers' parking. Like someone else said, talk to the owner and see if you can negotiate something. Cash is king, too, and most Timmie's owners I've run across are cheap ****s that love every dollar
