^ Neo, don't be too hard on our lovely Leesha, she had to work until 5pm
Good question about next meet. I guess for some of us that will be Friday at the track... After that, not sure.

i suppose i should take the time to post my story.
Last season last lapping day at Shannonville I started to have fuel cut at ¾ of a tank on left hand turns. I assumed my fuel pump sock was getting clogged due to the fact that I premix. The car ran fine no power loss or anything just cutting out while on the track, but after taking it out of storage I started having problems when I was WOT for extended periods of time. 1st 2nd 3rd and mid 4th gear it would cut out. I started looking around for the fuel pump removal tool had a friend make something up you can see it on the floor in one of warren’s pics. Pulled the fuel pump out and nothing on the sock its clean no oily residue. put everything back together. After a few more days of driving when below 1/8th a tank I was unable to go over 4000rpm or up steep hills with out stalling and the car just falling flat on its face. Contacted Greg he had mentioned he had a spare fuel pump for me to try. After driving in heavy rain for 2 hours and stalling the car on the 403 a few times made it to Scotts. Where the 5 min fuel pump swap took closer to an hour. After all said and done problem is fixed drove 1000km in 2 days and not a single problem. My car had a 115 000km on it when I started having issues to 117 000km was undriveable. I’ve seen fuel pumps with over 600 000km on them apparently the 8’s pump isn’t built so well. Ill be upgrading to an 09 pump early may and returning Greg’s pump thanks again.
Nathan.
ps probart mazda wanted to change the coils wires and plugs costing well over $500 which they assured me would fix my issues

nate, glad to hear all is okay. im anxious to see how the 09 fuel pump swap goes for you.
kevin, being in oakville is key to the install meet thing, but there is also the possibility of people (usually me and jay + one other) staying and working until all hours of the night/next morning.
kevin, im definitly interested in coming out to help out/hang out. what time? i work on saturdays until 1
