I can see Sat. night went well. LOL!!

I wanted to be there but my girl was not feeling up to it. Her alergies blew up on her and she needed some TLC.

So when is the next install meet??? I really want to get things done on the Miata. I'm also thinking of getting the springs installed on the car.

Hey Neo, what happened to keeping it stock because you're driving in the winter? I knew the mod bug would bite you sooner or later

rx8thunder,

I've always had intentions of modifying her. I actually started the day I got it! Not 1hr from the dealer lot and I was already installing my HID's. lol

I take corners pretty aggressively. The car has some major body roll in stock form. I'm hoping the sway bars will elimnate alot of that.

Over the weekend we went grocery shopping. Whom ever tells you that you can't fit $380 worth of groceries into a Miata clearly doesn't know how to pack!
I felt a bit guilty putting the Miata through that, but it was only for a short distance. In that time I noticed how low the suspension got. The car does look alot better slightly lowered.
I knew the springs would probably be my last purchase because I'm pretty sure I'll be able to survive the winter with the slight drop.
But I won't make my final decision until after the winter season. So I'll wait it out till next year.
For sure the sway bars have to be installed. I hate seeing the car lean severly trying to take a corner quickly.

So how about Pros? When are we having our install meet???

I'll apologize now... My 2 year old has been watching that episode before bed for the past week. All this talk of Jay reminded me of it and a quick google produced that result.

Be sure to check out progress sway bars. How much lower are you thinking of going? Hopefully you'll consider options beyond your beloved MS

rx8thunder,

Remember, this is still my daily driver. The other car received all the high performance parts. I'm sticking strictly with Mazdaspeed components for the Miata.
I already ordered the Mazdaspeed sways (Pros, set the next install meet date already!!).
After this winter season, if I see that the car can survive with a bit of a drop, I'll order the Mazdaspeed springs for the Miata.
