There has to be something else wrong. If you bring it back in I will give it to a Tech to drive for a few days and see if he can sort it out. Unless you are doing short start and stops and not raising the RPM to 3000 before shutting it off you shouldn't have these issues. We need a good history on the car if you have it available to see who has done what to it in the past etc, so we know what has been tried before.

Yeah Al and the boys just put new plugs in. It must not have been hot enuf when I turned it off which makes no sense because it was a short move (to park) after a long haul from Orillia. The starts are long anyway, it's taking way too much time turning over at the best of times. Now it wont even turn over. When I try, nothing happens and the battery ends up dying. I hate this ****. I really should have done some research on these issues before buying the damned thing.

That sucks Bishop!! To bad you didn't go manual easier to deflood. If you ever question it, always rev it up, for 5 secs it can save you this hassle. So now it does nothing? Doesn't turn over or anything? What happens when you try to start it? what do you hear etc? Upgrade the starter, get the BHR coils and wires, new battery and betcha things will be a lot different.

Have u tried pulling the fuel relay?

BTW - Russell did a bang up job taking care of my car. Anyone with a Mazda (ecspecially a RX-8) in the GTA would be foolish to go anywhere but here.

Nick Bilimoria is the best service rep to deal with. He'll take care of everything.

have u checked even one plug? I wouldn't have minded tryin for awhile. I sucked up a whole bunch of water via CAI, she died but help of the brother hood got her going again. I would have come over on the weekend but didn't hear back. Is there any kind of fire, life from it? It does turn over right? I'm around next weekend. I promise nothing tho

Hell yeah. I'm not about to pay for 'another' Mazda dealerships mistake. Most dealerships would have told me to take it back to the original dealer, but not ScarMaz!

How long did you try it with CAA there? We screwed around with mine for about 45min to get her going again, but we did some work as well.

Oh praise be to God. It just so happens that the guy driving the flatbed has a buddy that works for Mazda and he actually fixed the damned thing. Took about an hour of cranking and squeezing the gas, and MAN was there a lot of smoke!!! He had to use two jumper cables attached to his diesel idling pretty high to get the battery enough juice to crank long enough, but he did it. She's idling a little rough at the moment and lost a lot of power off a stop (wasnt going anywhere fast in 1st) so I hope that's just a temporary thing. At least she's running!!

Good to hear!! That's what I was thinking, just needed some time playing with it, cranking it etc. Hope you just let it idle for a while without touching anything. I let mine sit for a good 10 min+ so it would sort it's self out. Problem is I'm sure you have tons and tons of fuel in the CAT which will cause back pressure and loss of power Can you stand it on it's *** so the gas can drain out?? When she gets running smooth enough go run this **** out of her, make it hot hot hot and burn that crap off! Cheers!
