Kart2Kart, Arrive and Drive (Windsor)

Went down to Kart2Kart for the first time. This is in Sterling Heights, Michigan (Toronto ppl can stop reading this at this point)

The place offers a decent deals on indoor karting: A 20 races package for 150USD. Each race is around 8 minutes. You race against the people who happen to be there at the same time.

They also offer an arrive and drive league and endure racing in which you race against the same people, (from their site):

Kart 2 Kart offers our customers the ability to race in a points series. Our league races run a few months in length and incorporate multiple nights of racing. Each race night includes 2 qualifying sessions and 1 race. Points are accumulated over all the racing nights, prizes for the overall points winner at the end.

Winter 2010/2011 League Dates (6.30pm start):

1. Dec 8th
2. Dec 22nd
3. Jan 5th
4. Jan 19th
5. Feb 2nd
6. Feb 16th
Mar 2nd (award presentation to follow racing)

The 2.4 Enduro

Interested in an endurance race? Kart 2 Kart offers the excitement of a team event of 2 - 4 drivers complete with drivers changes. A 40 minute qualifying sessions leads into a long 2 hour race where driver's skill and teamwork can make you the winner.

Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Schedule:

1. Oct 21st, 6:30pm
2. *Nov 27th, 9:30am
3. Dec 28th, 6:30pm
4. *Jan 27 6:30pm
5. Feb 24th, 6:30pm
6. *Mar 31st, 6:30pm

I am new to karting but had a good time so I am hoping to attend their arrive and drive league and maybe do some endurance karting racing if I learn to drive the thing properly.

Anyone from the Windsor crew interested in this? Don't have to do the league, can just go down and run a few races.

The fastest kart I drove had around 12hp and that was plenty fast for me. Is yours going to be a drag racing kart?
