Hey folks, I'm from Kingston. Living in Guelph now and don't have an 8 yet, but I like to drive my 6 as though it's an 8 ha ha. Anyways wanted to let anyone in the area know about a really great driving road I discovered last time I was down to visit family. Desert Lake Road is the name, and to find it just go north of Kingston on 38 to just a little way through Verona. It just turns right from Verona, and eventually connects to Bedford Rd and loops back in to Kingston. Anyway, its km and km of twisty hills and beautiful scenery and no traffic or cops! Worth the drive, and a great time! Can't wait to drive it in an 8!

Hate to be that guy to bring up an old thread, but I just picked up my 04 red gt on tuesday, living in rural south end of ottawa. These forums were a great help in finding information leading up to the purchase of my 8, and I can't wait to learn a whole lot more.
Cheers,
Mark

Hey guys I live in kingston with a red 04!!!
soon to have a little work into her!!!
But i have a quick question... Mazda is currently replacing my engine and I was wondering is there a specific way to drive it, until the new motor is broken in? IE: super easy on it for the first 100 k, or just open it up a little bit? I am normally pretty hard on her so it is going to be a change for a while lol!!
Ill throw up a good pic when i get her back from the shop!!
