Lack of Power Issue
I don't know if any of you guys in the GTA have had a Lack of Power issue...so here I am asking and to see if anyone knows how to do any fixes or troubleshooting on it as I can't find a thread on here about it.
I feel like there's no power till I hit about 5K revs. And even then, it feels like it's lost power. The cars not as responsive as it used to be also.
I don't know what can be causing this and have no clue where to start on searching for the problem...
Thanks in advance guys!

Guys know where I can get good Coils and Wires for the cheapest price?
Also, how would I go about testing the wires? I've had no previous experience working on cars. But I want to learn this stuff so I know how to do stuff like this on my own car instead of paying dealerships to do simple tasks...

The cheapest for coils by far is in the states. Around here I'd recommend Scarboro Mazda. They normally keep a bunch in stock (heh.. last time mine when I picked up all 3 in the same day), and will give you a good discound for being an RX-8 club member. Just call parts and ask for Steve.
If you're free tomorrow swing by the meeting that we're doing at Thunders... we'll be able to go over all that stuff there... and if you buy the coils we can install them there.
The water test just requires a squirt bottle with a mist setting. Start the car.. open the hood.. squirt the wires.. if you see and arching or hear cracking.. then you need new wires.

On another note it would be a good idea to meet up with you guys tomorrow even though I have nothing to install. This way I can chat with you guys on other possible reasons why the car could be acting sluggish like this.
I'll need someone to PM me the address.
Thanks for the advice guys!

It's only like 5 days to canada from them so I was told.
put a post in the other thread, I'm not one to go around giving out other ppl's address and such. Don't come too late, all the fun stuff will be done.

Cardinaleway is way cheaper, I searched for your post as soon as Rev told me to look at changing the coils and wires. I will most likely order them from there since they are the cheapest and I can wait a bit for the shipping.
