Lightning Yellow GT AT from Whitby Mazda
I did it, finally! After 3 weeks of hemming and hawing and gathering scads of great information from this site: Lightning Yellow, GT AT c/w Nav from Whitby Mazda.
Delivery Wed or Thursday this week. Settled for the AT to permit my wife to enjoy it too..had driven it for a weekend and it was a blast, Getting Rotary accents, shock sensor, ECU flash upgrades(N/C of course); aluminium scuff plates, wheel locks and all at dealer cost..highly recommend these gentlemen: Victor Santos, New Car Sales Mgr. and Peter Heasty, Owner. Also superb mechanics, among them Steve and Tony. It's my third car from Whitby.. 2000 MX-5, M6 GT V6( traded it in)..One very happy RX8 'true believer'!

Hi RX8ER and MyRxBAD: Yes, that's it. Apparently they had had two potential purchasers, one corporate and one private, whose 'deals' fell through because of financing difficulties.

Picked it up at 5:00 pm. Options, excepting wheel locks [freebie] not in the shop until Tuesday.. Strakes, shock sensor, Scotchguard stone guard, rear flaps and that's it for now. Window etching done free.. also did my Miata and M6 previously.

Trying again. Ha! It worked. The old looking dude..er, geezer is my grandfather..:p
Inching along College St. West Toronto today, 20-something son says, "Dad I got to borrow this car, okay?"
"Mm, I suppose.. Why the rush?"
"Haven't you noticed all the chicks on the sidewalk staring at it?"
"Funny ... now that you mention it, I thought it was me."
Son: "Yellow rocks.. wasn't sure you when you e-mailed me that you had made the right choice.. but now I am. .. very, very cool, definitely. Oh, and one more thing, cancel your order for the spoiler. Doesn't work.with the contours... it's not a ricer. Man, did you see her.. the blonde with the Starbucks cup? She almost dropped it. "
"Dropped what?"
"The cup, father. The cup!"
Happy Fathers' Day to all RX8 geezers and fogeys everywhere. We rock!

Will relay build date today.
And to EATMYBANANA, thank you! I never, ever in my wildest dreams thought I would ever consider, much less own, a yellow car. Now, I simply love it. It is truly a unique colour.. (there I go speaking Canadian again, eh?..color) whose hue seems to shift from subtle, if that is possible, to boldly aggressive. It captures and emphasizes all of the nuances of the body's compound curves and incredibly sophisticated, sexy sculpturing. Man, I do love this car! I can just imagine the Teuton designworks gnomes scratching their heads, "Damn it, Hermann! How did they do that?"![Cool](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Here it is : 07/03.

Welcome to the club! I drive a AT too. At first I thought 4 speed Trans...4?, then I drive it and all I could say is whoa...so if anyone gives you that face and repeats that "4 speed??" stick them in the car, drive it to the 4 gear and see how long it takes them to say " ok, ok, you made you point, slow down." Have fun diving your ride, and those strangers staring at you, you'll get use to that :D

You're so right, hobbes. The higher torque compensates to a considerable degree.
Titanium was what I almost got had the sales manager not elected to take a Titanium MT as his company car earlier that morning.
As the man used to say, "Happy Motoring!"
