At long last!!!!!

I have finally had the phone call that I was waiting for. My dealer called to tell me that I can pick up my car on Thursday. Can't wait to take it out for a drive.

Hope the weather will be kind on Friday and for the weekend. Will have some "Zainoing" to do.

BTW, anyone here drive a black one and lives in the Beaches area of TO. Seen it around quite a bit and was admiring it in the driveway yesterday. Great shine to it, Zaino??

Cheers

Taffy

Be careful with the Zaino... it does not like to be applied in cold weather!

edit: I just checked with some of the other forums regarding applying Zaino in cold weather. The consensus is that can apply Zaino with temperatures as low as 7C or 45F with success, but you must use ZFX at that temperature.... hope this helps.

Thanks Zoom Zoom.

Hopefully, we'll have some decent weather this weekend so that I can get the Zaino done before the colder weather starts. I also want to do my other car if I get the time.

I have the ZFX since I bought the kit. Would you use Z2 and Z5 or just the Z2 with the Z6?

Listen to me, all I really want to do is drive the car all weekend!!!

Taffy... I would recommend that you: Dawn wash, Cay, Z7 wash, Z5, Z2, Z6. If you do not wish to clay your RX-8, start with the Z7 wash. However, if you do want to skip a step, skip the Z6 but do not skip either the Z5 or Z2. I would however recommend that you try to get a second coat on the car (Z5, Z2, Z6) if you have the time.

What dealership did you get your car and what part of Toronto do you live in?

I would skip the Z5, your car should be free of swirls for now. Dawn wash, definitely clay bar, Z7 wash, Z2 then Z6.

Thanks for the info guys. I was planning on using the claybar but would you use Z6 before and after using Z2/Z5?

Zoom Zoom, my dealer is Gyro Mazda and I live in the Beaches area.

Cheers

Talking

Got the car last night. Everything I had hoped for and more. The gas needle seems to be constantly moving but what the hell. This is so much fun. Now if only all the other cars would get out of the way!!!!!:D

Saw a blue last night just after I left the dealer. The hazards were going and it was stopped on Eglington East opposite Celestica. Anyone ??
