Loweing Springs..Where to install?

Does anyone know a relatively inexpensive place I can get these new springs I purchased installed? Don't have the time/tools to do it myself
Around the GTA btw

We usually have a spring meet where we go ahead and install all sorts of things on our cars.
If you can wait, we can install it for you.

Mazmart rotary specialist is a good place to go. It's in Scarborough. Google it up, tell Mark that RX8club sent you there.

just a suggestion...
I wouldn't let any one install adjustable ride height springs unless they have
corner scales and some experience with chassis tuning...
loading each corner the wrong way will make the car handle worse than stock..
and in extreme cases could be dangerous.

SG-Motorsport is at Steels and Dixie area too. Sasha has scales and an aglinment machine to dial your car in. By far the best place to have any suspension tuning or installs done.

Also corner balencing is useless unless you have coilovers. You can't adjust lowering springs.

I use Daves Garage in Oakville. He specializes in Miatas but does all my RX8 work. He is honest and has the best prices in town.

What are shops in Toronto charging to change springs / shocks? I think Sasha at SG has an alignment machine so you could probably get a decent deal doing springs & shocks & alignment at the same time.

Talk to Ed at Advance Powerhouse & Dyno.

I saw some of his work during our dyno day last year and I was pretty happy with it.

I didn't see an alignment machine in his shop and his lifts are the type that go under the frame, not the drive-on types, so I would guess he doesn't.

Only 1 question lol Can someone explain to me how to corner weight a car that doesnt have adjustable coil overs? If you just making a spring change how do you corner weight the car. This would save me thousands of $$$ on our race car.

once the car has settled on all 4 pads... usually on a level shop floor...
you will see how much each contact patch is supporting on the readout.

moving a battery from the front to the back can remove 20lbs from the front
and add it to the back etc.

adjusting each corner slightly will change the loading of each contact patch
but as with anything else there is only so much you can do.

during the Rothmans turbo cup series a well known competitor was found to
be using dry ice to make his weight at the weigh in and of course be lighter
later on. lol those were the days !
