I think it would set a good example for others if footman can attend westend meets more often. Just to break that barrier.
And yes I have organized a few meet. I understand some people have other things to do. If they come, good. If not, no sweat. Not gonna bitch about it. Thats why I don't do dinner meet. That way if less people show up, it doesn't screw everything up. I think by putting a show up list after put the non show on the spot, so next time they are not even gonna think about showing up. This whole meet idea is suppose to be pressure-free, enjoy the moment kinda thing. Not Work or school where you have to show up if you say so.

OK guys we have two locations up for discussion:
1. Enterprise/Kennedy
2. Valleymede/7
Everyone post to decide which location you want to go to by 5pm, otherwise we'll default to choice 1.
Meeting time will be 10pm.
As for my choice, I kind of want to try the Enterprise location because it is indoors.

I actually vote for Valleymede/ HW7 for tonight, as it is not that cold today, no point for indoor wash and paying extra cost (3C now, and I think it is 0C tonight).
I think we shall go to the Enterprise/Kennedy when it is colder, perhaps like -15C or so. Just my opinion. I will follow the majority though.

You can try your car properly down to -2 C outdoors. From my experience, what you need is to be fast and with LARGE microfibre absorbing towels. I know it's late to say this but Canadian tire during boxing week had the large Simoniz microfibre towels (large enough to dry yourself from a shower) on sale for $3.98 each (regular price $14.99)
I picked up 4. You need about 3 towels.
1) Start at top, one sheet laid flat, drag from one side of roof to front bumper all the way down. repeat for right side. DONE for towel 1 (should be dripping wet)
2) Start at roof on one side, drag it back to trunk lip and down to bumper. Repeat on other side. DONE for towel 2.
3) Take last towel, go around the car twice in one continuous sweep, then go through finer details to dry off stuff. Open doors, to allow drip from holes, wipe the fuel tank lid, etc.... sections underneath the rear lights and at the side mirrors are prone for water capturing.
The above steps if followed, you can dry your car in 2 minutes TOPS which is not enough time for water to freeze.
To answer Chris' question, I vote Valleymede and 7 because I agree with what KaKui said.
Also, who's up for RICHMOND COURT "fine" chinese dining afterwards, and maybe a few quick photos right at the car wash.
