Mazda Canada Site Update

Not much from Mazda Canada but their site now says the RX-8 Accessories will be added to the website in the first week of July - perhaps after the first cars have arrived. Not very helpful. How hard is it to add the page now?

Cool Update?

Looks like Mazda Canada has beaten their previous pitiful record....
Not only is the Accessories List not there, 'first week in July',
(this is the 9th,......Helloooo?)
Now the whole RX-8 part of the site is NFG.
Sad.
Awful.
And pitiful.

You must have hit their site just as they were updating it.
Everything is working now, and the accessories brochure is actually up. Still no car covers in it though......

I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE WAY MAZDA GOES ABOUT DOING THINGS. THIS IS WHY MAZDA HAS NEVER COMPETED WELL AGAINST OTHER JAPANESE MANUFACTURERS. MAZDA AS A COMPANY IS CRAP!! I CAN SAFELY SAY THAT MAZDA IS THE WORST AUTOMOBILE COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

If everyone else in the company was as spirited and competent as the engineers and designers, they'd be the only car company on the planet. But, instead...

TiRX8: you need to loose the caps as it's highly annoying.

A couple reasons I think Mazda is not as bad as you are making them out to be.

- This time last year, the internet was no one near the complexity as it is now. The car dealers haven't changed the way they are delivering cars from any other year! It's just that we get the information (sometimes inside information) way before stuff happens (or while it happens.)

- You were comparing how Mazda can't deliver like Acura. Well Acura has a lot more cash then Mazda, as Mazda is just getting back on it's feet within the last few years, since Ford's bean counters have helped them out and they've had many success' with the Miata, Protege, and Now the 6 and the Rx-8 are coming out. Give them time.

P.S - Consider yourself lucky to get a 2004 car in the middle of 2003!

Learn how to put a sentence together!! It's highly annoying!!

I never compared Mazda with Acura. Also there are many other 2004's out there as we speak. Why should I consider myself lucky to get a 2004 in 2003? 2004's are usually available around this time.

Cool Cool it boys.............

Seems we are all getting a little steamed!

I do recall a post from June 1st, where the President of Mazda Canada was quoted as saying "You should have your cars by the end of June".

Then I reffered to Mazda Canada as a bunch of *****, and President 'Mike' as the 'king-of-the-*****'.

I think my point is made, more people are sharing my views, daily.

Welcome to the dark side, TiRX8...........

I totally agree!

Anyone who thought that a concept car that was going into mass worldwide production would be on time and/or didn't expect any hiccups along the way has to be very naive. I am sure that everyone is trying to do his or her best under the circumstances.

As for all of the name-calling that is going on in this forum, that IMHO is nothing more that pure immaturity!

Flame suit on.

Fellows, fellows... just take a deep breath. i don't mean to antagonize anyone here, or suggest anyone really do anythign but relax. if the cars are coming, they will get here. maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday.

yes, it is in fact much easier for me to wait, because i'm not waiting (or getting anything at all). that's beside the point: everyone, and i mean everyone, is just getting too impatient for something which will be here, and probably everything we expect it to be.

this is suppost to be fun, not yet another source of stress.

Second you should re-read your caps mess. You compared Mazda to "All" Japanese makers, I was merely using Acura as an example. Last time I checked they were a Japanese car manufacturer (aka Honda)

It's a brand new model with a brand new engine design, and you expect them to be in mass production (and delivered overseas) before the end of July! You need to be more realistic.

The accessories brochure is now up, and the RX-8 has also been added to the "MazdaMaker" which includes prices for all the accessories too.

Ahem, and it's more for ANY color except for black!

This is the usual afair but I didn't think it would be an extra charge on the RX-8, did I miss that before???

And graduate cash is available $750! Woohoo!

Total for ontario for a GT with some extra's for me was $850 a month. Lease is like $600 but damn 9.1% is high!

The same thing happened to me the first time I tried to download it.
You might need to download a new version of Adobe.

BTW, my dealer told me today that they have the colour brochure in now, so you could always pick one up at a dealership.

Here is a closeup of the climate controls taken from one of the press cars that was recently at Mosport Park, north of Toronto. There doesn't appear to be an AUTO setting. Did they take climate control out of the cars for Canada or was there just miscommunication from Mazda Canada?
