Okay so with this event only 10 days away (YAY!) we should start planning the after-party!

There has been some concern over where to do that. I am personally a fan of downtown (Mill St Brew Pub was thrown around) but there are parking concerns and such, especially seeing as there is a Man-U soccer game at the Rogers Centre that night too.

We'd also like to keep it pretty central as well to make it easy for everyone. Great food and a great beer selection are still a MUST!

Are we all content with Mill St or do we want to throw around other ideas?

The Man Utd game is actually on the 16th.. not the 17th so you don't have to worry about that. Mill St is a great place (good food, decent price, great beer).

I have a friends BBQ that day... but... depending on what time you guys are there until I might head down.

Alright I'll post it up in the first thread in a bit.

Any recommendations for lunch? I'm thinking we all pitch in and order-in something tasty.

1st post updated! Please RSVP for the after-party (including +1s or so) so that I can give them a call a few days before to make sure we have an area reserved.

BTW, 2 spots left

Bump! Damn you guys are a quiet bunch. I sure hope Leesha shows up to make some noise otherwise this'll be a really quiet meet

I PM'ed everyone with some added details -- please make sure you read them and PM me if you have any questions.

wcs will be taking the morning shift for me and coordinating everything. I should get there around noon or 1pm, so if we pre-organize something for lunch I can probably bring it by

Everyone please PM me your name and contact info and whether or not you're coming to the after-party. Thanks

One last note: if we don't fill any more slots, your dyno time may be moved up 30 to 60 minutes EARLIER if you are in a late slot, so plan to show up early!

Quick reminder from Jeff:

If you do NOT have an active MMCCS, and you did NOT buy an AP from Jeff on or after January 17th 2010, you WILL need to bring the fee for the MMCCS (US$200) in CASH at the event OR make arrangements with Jeff prior to the event.

Otherwise, you'll be a sad Panda...

* this is not a promise that Jeff will molest you, so don't forget the fee on purpose...
** this is also not a promise that he won't...

Please check the first post for your NEW DYNO TIME

I removed the 2 dyno-only slots since there was no interest, and there's no point in paying for the dyno if we're not using it.

Any questions or concerns, feel free to switch slots with other people.

I'm trying! He doesn't want to spend the money. I don't think he realizes the potential of what Jeff's offering vs. someone who's never tuned with the AP and specializes more in 7s. I really hope he decides to join us for his own sake.

People in North America are so cheap when it comes to this stuff. The Euro/Asian markets will easily drop well over $1000 for tuning but not here. Don't ask me why... personally if I'm going to spend several thousand on a turbo kit, I'd gladly spent a few hundred more to get the best tune.

Yea I know, I don't care about $20.

It just sucks when people cheap out on stuff, blow their engine then part out their cars and buy a Mustang or something...
