Mazdaspeed6 needs to be loved!
I was visiting Al yesterday and trying to price out my riceboy bodykit project, and I saw his Mazdaspeed6 parked up front. It looked damn nice...
Makes me wonder...why the hell people don't warm up to these? If I need more space, I will definitely take the M6(haha ya M6!) versus the 1.8T/2.0T Audi A4 which has much less power and more expensive in maintenance...and its damn heavy. The Legacy GT has a "better" AWD drivetrain but the premium in Subaru Canada just kills it...
So I asked that question, and Al responded by saying..."People are stupid?". I LOLed. Ok, thats not true. He didn't say that, but the look of his face tells me that. Typical dealership manager !
Anyway, if any of your friends are interested, this is the price they have right now...
2006 Mazdaspeed 6, leather, 6spd, tu tone blk/wte interior. 34000km 274 hp 280 torque price $24,000
2007 Mazdaspeed 6 , leather, naviagtion, grey with black leather, 41000km , eibach prokit 18X8 kazera wheels w/225/45/18 BFggodrich Gforce KDW's $31500.00 (This is Al's ride. Its sick!)
Look at the Torque!!!
Mind you, this is the last Mazda6 with car enthusiast in mind. Just read this article and you know how sad it is...for us NAmericans.

According to Jeremy Barnes, director of product and corporate communications, shoppers rejected the outgoing 6 for the following reasons: 25.1 percent of consumers passed because of quality concerns (Bull SHXT after you have a volkswagen), 16.5 percent felt that it didn't offer adequate power (WTF Mazdaspeed6 got most power in the whole Mazda lineup...buy that you whiners!), and 15 percent passed due to size reservations (read: it wasn't big enough).
I wish these two Mazdaspeed6 got a good home...if you are interested just drop by and say hi to Al, or message him here, or call him before going...

You really need to read up on the MZR DISI engine woes in the MSP6. It goes to severe retard-mode when the sun is at the zenith and when dinosaurs died of cancer.
When I was at a Mazda dealership, they have a 07 MSP6 going for 29k. The sales people practically begged me to pick that over the eventual wagon 6. If I want a turbo AWD Japanese sedan, I'd get the Legacy GT. Everything except for the price is better. Hate the bulbous hood. The TMIC design is a huge turn-off for me. Who'd put a TMIC in an enclosed hood? Grade 3 science says that heat rises....

Well I can tell you is about my personal experiences. I have had 5 of them since 2006, and have only had the severe retard problem was when forced to use cheap fuel. The rest of the car has been bullet proof and that includes lots of Mosport days. They are good on fuel i average about 29mpg, maintenance has been minimal. I still have the 2007 because I really cant find anything thats as much fun to drive on a daily basis.

Do tell! What's the mazdaspeed body kit costing nowadays (the front clip alone is $1500 in the states).

The Speed 6's are nice looking cars.
A guy in my neighbourhood has a white one, lowered on the RX8 rims. Looks real slick. He has HID fogs as well.
Actually i think it may be 2 guys that have white ones. the second guy has black wheels. But not a fan of black wheels.

I will see how rice it turns out...
I just feel naked without a rear wing...even my godson of 2yrs old keep asking me "Wheres the wing on the lighting McMazda!"
