TitaniumZoomZoom, it was indeed a pleasure to meet you this afternoon. Not a bad turnout; 7 or so RX8's, a G35 and Mazda 3 on a cold windy Sunday.

I'm hoping one of these meets could happen on a friday or saturday night and wrap it around a dinner and/or a few beers and a couple of hours of laughing!

CubaKid, hope we dn't make you feel uncomfortable with all the proanities.

Always good to see you people again... Some new faces as well.. The more the merrier..

The Silver on the 8 is really sharp... Makes it look almost white but not quite...

The 3rd gear speed was determined in a very professional manner.. LOL! :D I'll never doubt Shamblerock again! I still think VW's are piles of junk, but that's a whole different conversation... LOL

Too bad some of you had to leave early.. We had a heated debate about "suping" up the 8.. LOL!! I'm sorry I don't know your handle my friend, but don't take it too serious... Just getting some things off my chest... By all means, you can do whatever you want... I'm trying to save you some money and some heart ache... Are you sure you don't want to invest in my funds?? No hard feelings...

Yes I agree with Shamblerock about meeting up some time for dinner and some laughs.. It's getting closer to Xmas so when would you guys be avaliable to do this??

Good times... Too bad Cubakid had to come late... She was busy cleaning the 8... I bet she's kicking herself now that it's raining! LOL

It was good to see the new faces, I hope to see you all again, soon.

p.s. Shamlberock, the dinner idea sound great, set it up.

Citizen Zero, get your snows on sooner the better. If you are going to buy new rims next spring and put winters on the stock rims, let me know and I may buy your current tires for a real low price if they are in decent shape. Let me know any time. I am not "kicking your tires" on this idea.

Showing you red line in 3rd was a freebee. However, a redline in 4th only comes packaged with a red line in 5th. Unfortuinately, that's my policy. So you'll have to sit through both at one time. My advise to you is to take a few relaxing pills an hour before, practice breathing in and out slowly because I will make you **** your pants. On that note, you might as well come equipped with an adult diaper on before you enter my car (I don't want to ruin the leather, you know )

Neo, maybe one last kick at a dinner meeting either before Christmas or shortly thereafter. Everyone should think about it over the next few weeks and take another peek at this idea by mid December. Hopefully Rich will make it out too.

sounds like a good meet, 150km/h in third sounds wicked shamblerock. Regarding another meet, im back on the 17th, so anything that weekend would be awesome for me, no snow in london yet, but im waiting for the first storm to hit so i can try out the pirrelli's.

For my first meet I had a great time and great laughs!

Shamblerock I didn't doubt you for a minute! 150 km/h in 3rd just as we said, no problem!! LOL.

Citizen_Zero, that discussion on modding the 8 and racing those civics was great for a chuckle, I look forward to seeing what you do with your 8. Don't forget, there is a 5th and 6th gear!

Mic, love your Toyo's! Still can't figure out why it looks like there is more space between your Toyo's and fenders then my Toyo's and fenders though.

Neo, now that I heard about your 7 I can't wait to see it! I'd love to follow you on the highway and see the flames from your exaust!!

TitaniumZoomZoom, you play your radio WAY to low! But then again you can enjoy the sound of the rotary more! And it sounds so sweet!

92tsiawd, you seem to know your stuff on Rotaries to, my guess is you'll be the first with FI in the bunch.

CubaKid, love your keychain, need to find a silver one!!

Looking forward to the next one! Give me enough notice if it's going to be a dinner thing, but it sounds great!

I had an idea to meet once a month on the same day each month so it can be easily scheduled. If this is of interest let me know, we could change the meeting place but the day each month would generally stay the same. I think it would be easier for people to make it out and make time for it when they know when the meet will be. Just a thought.

A pleasure to meet you today. Nothing like a good dose of testosterone to end the week with!

Raquel will be going into hibernation, so should there be a meet in Dec, I'll be there with the "gardening" car.

Note: the keychain was an eBay item, but as far as I can tell, they simply took the model, drilled a hole and attached the chain.

Cheers to you all! (and happy motoring in 3rd although we never did talk about the mileage achieved at that high an RPM - I can only imagine)

Zoom zoom!

Sorry I couldn't make it out to meet some new faces.
My car is stored anyways.. and being low on funds doesn't help!
Keep the next meeting posted and I'll try and be there.

Sounds like you guys had fun. Catch you guys at the next meet. Unfortunately I didn't get them winter tires and rims. Lack for a better reason, I found a cheaper place. Toyo Graits and 17" steels for ~$1350 so I'll do that during the week I hope at lunch time or something. Let you know how it goes.

Neo, when will anyone see the infamous 7 of yours, at least post a pic up man. Did you're 3 come yet or is it still on the boat . Remeber the emblems I told you about? Got them over the weekend and they looks awesome. When I get get them up on the car, I'll post some picks.

You guys see my car all the time... it's my avatar! Shamblerock and Mic have seen the car in the flesh the last time we had a meet... Unfortunately that was the last time it was out... Up where I live the weather system is completely different... I can't drive the car without getting really sideways!

Yep, I have my 3... The guys at the meet saw it... I've only seen 1 other Winning Blue 3 sedan around town... More of them will pop up eventually...

I can't wait to see the emblems... I've been thinking of getting some for the 3 and the 7...

Neo's car is a beauty and he's done a great job of keeping it in fabulous condition inside and out. I would love to buy it from him, but its just too slow and doesn't have DSC. In fact, rumour is that he bought the "turbonator" for $29.99 and it improved performance drastically for him. Now he can hit 160KM in less than 1 minute.

THE TRUTH:
The car is probably the best looking and conditioned RX-7 on the street today! Great sound, power and acceleration.

Hey Chris,

That's a 7 in your avatar???

I hate to tell you, but when you shrunk that picture it came out all stretched and looks more like an 86 Supra or a late 90's Mitsu 3000 GT VR4... Photoshop, man, photoshop!!

I seem to be working all of my weekends these days thanks to... well, I won't get into why... how about a Saturday meet in the next couple of weeks? I really would like to get out to some more of these. Haven't seen Neo in over a year, and I only heard about that mysterious 7 but have never seen it: avatar included!

Glad to see we have a Canadian lady on board! Welcome to Cubakid :D
