All Car Clubs planning on attending this event is asked to submit an email to events-promo@torontomazda3.com with number of attendees. All attendees will get a goodie bag as a thank you for attending. The location has the capacity for approximately 300 vehicles.

Awards will be given out in the following categories as voted by attendees:
Best Mazda3
Best Mazda6
Best Miata
Best Protege
Best RX-8
Best RX-7
Best Other
Best of Show

Agenda:
11am – 12pm – Roll-in
12pm – 2:30pm – People’s choice judging takes place
2:30pm – 3:30pm – Tallying of the votes
3:30pm – 4pm – Award presentations
5:00pm – Roll-out

Costs:
Admission Into Facility: $4.25/Adult, $3.25/Senior (65+ Years), $2.25/Child (>=5 Years), Free Admission for VIP/Sponsors.
BBQ Rental: $55
Charcoal: $10
BBQ Rental & Charcoal: $60

Notes & Reminders:
EVENT LOCATION AND DATE CONFIRMED! BBQs will be available for rental for this event. Rental requests required. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own food, chairs etc.

hmmmm sounds like fun but why is the rx8 and rx7 paired up? That's like pairing up the mazda 3 and 6. we want our own awards :D

I think the awards should be split too... but I think they did this because of the low turnout last year... I'm sure they'll be lots of 7's and 8's this year.. So it wouldn't be fair to pair them up... Especially since they'll look at my FD and immediately give me the award...

Hi all, we originally paired up the RX7 to the RX8 because last year's attendance was in the single digits for BOTH combined. It seems possible this might happen again this year due to other club events occurring on the same date/weekend.

I suggest you have someone create a roll call and maintain it within this thread to have an estimate of how many are actually attending MOM05.

C'mon guys, we need to show them that us rotorheads can bring in the numbers to. I was there last year and it makes for a good day of meeting new people.

As for you Neo, I dont think youll take my first place from me, i'm going for two years in a row. How about 2nd cause we all know second is the first place loser LOL hahaha

I'll get some RX-8's out for you... But I'm sure the 7's will out number the 8's... at least that's the way it's been going lately at the mini-meets...

Final plans are going to be posted early next week (rendezvous times, locations, etc.)

Are people bringing the bosses and kids if any? Sounds a bit like a good family event.

 

Yes family is welcome, kids "bosses" and girl "friends"....there are no events of such to keep kids occupied but the day is family friendly :D

 

I will be there in spirit as I attend two weddings that day.

I know there are a lot more 8 peeps out there. Bring family and friends, bring the cooler, bring whomever, just go. You don't want to miss one of the biggest events to show off you 8 now, would you?

Just go to see Neo's 7, which I had the honour of seeing last night. Sweet ride indeed. :D
