300$ for 3.5hours of lapping the Mosport GP track is a very good deal. Kensai events are well organized and attended by the same regulars which is a big plus.

DO NOT CONFUSE the MOSPORT GP TRACK and the Driver Development Track (DDT) at Mosport.

We had a great time Monday on the big track, there were 4 RX-8 street cars, and one RX-8 race car (slower than the street cars lol). Kafka got a pic of all 4 street cars and driver in the pits and lots of on track pics as well. Kafka did a great job for his 1st time on the big track. He started the day with lots of fear which is a good thing at that track, he learned what happens when you dont have that respect for the fastest road course in North America, (highest average lap speed for ALMS cars) a Porsche 911 was pretty much written off between turn 9 and 10 just before lunch. Another great lesson for Josh was that all the suspension mods in the world arent worth as much as a driver and good tires (lol) but Im sure he will tell the rest of that story.

August 31st Race report.

For the 1st time this year the ABR / Scarboro Mazda Racing team had a good race weekend! The car ran perfectly and my crew was awesome considering they had to crew 2 cars when my friends crew didnt make it for his 1st race weekend ever. We started the Sunday morning race at the back of the 39 car field because we didnt race on Saturday and the 1st few laps were interesting to say the least. I was very patient letting everything sort out before using my Mazmark power to get by a whole bunch of people up the back straight, then went to work trying to move through the field. After 20 minutes we went from 39th to 9th. In Sunday afternoons race the car was again flawless and we raced hard to go from 9th to
3rd it was our 1st podium in a few years. We also went faster than we ever have before and ran a 1.36.894. Everything worked well all weekend and my crew chief Chris James and crew Curtis, Jeff, Jody and Joshuas hard work really paid off, they gave me a great car to drive. Thanks again guys!!!
