yeah... what's been discussed so far is that a number of us are going to meet up at scarb mazda... cruise up.. then those of us that are helping to organize will determine where everyone's gonna park.. get everything setup.. start taking registrations for those who want to do the lapping (first come first serve yo). Once all that's been taken care of then we'll most likely start up with kinda a show and shine.. a bbq.. shoot thie sheet... then lapping.. then continue on with the general shananigans..

and of course watch the races and cheer on ABR Racing.

this is all tenative for the moment of course... suggestions as to what we actually do up there are always welcome.

The event goes rain or shine, as the racing goes rain or shine. Im sure the turn out will be much smaller if it rains, I will have the #01 car there but not on track in the rain, I aint got no rain tires!

 

this sounds perfect man. fingers crosssed for good weather, but i'll go regardless (just wont be on the track if it rains). BBQin' and **** shootin' is what i do best. lol

 

We'll just put Josh's car on blocks and you can use his tires.

Once the race car is on the truck it's not stopping (except for gas).. it's too much of a pain in the *** to move that thing.. so a straight trek there is best.

I'm there rain or shine as well... maybe we should bring a tarp or something... something to give us some cover if it decides to rain.. I'll be on the track if it rains... not gonna boot it.. but my tires should be able to handle it :p

no idea on the beer... but if you're going on the track that day.. don't be drinking :p

No alcohol in the pit area until after the last race of the day. If you want beer etc you will have to leave the special parking area and go to the outer area of the track and wont be able to get back in.

 

 

BTW what time should we be at Scarb Mazda?

There's barely any room at the Scarboro Mazda parking lot. You guys should park across the street at the big Swiss Chalet parking lot.

 

Could we maybe update the first post with all the relevant information so we don't have to read through 9 pages to get it?

Ex: Location, time, meet-up spots, forseeable expenses, any "things to know" etc.

 

Scarboro Mazda has more than enough space for 12+ rx8 on the side and back of the dealership parking area.

Parking in the Swiss Chalet parking lot will almost guarantee you a door ding there.

Hey Thump...we can meet at Whitby AMC and then park like tow trucks on the Brock onramp waiting for these punks to fly by. I'm sure a few Winning Blue's shooting from behind will catch their attention.

 

Ya for sure, but met me at Ajax Go station lot right beside the 401 and we can do that. I will see if someone can call me or txt me right when they pass brock and we can then catch them.
