My Car is MESSED!!!
I went in to start the car, I got work in like half, looks like I aint making it in.
I get in to start the car, I get a static noise, with the Headlight icon flashing, my all my dials do what other cars do when they start up, you know the full sweep around. But ya, no start. I thought my battery was dead, but I can still arm and unarm the alarm.
HELP!!!

I'd come by but I'm still at work and won't be able to get off work till 5. I might be able to leave a few minutes early... but I doubt I'd get to your area before 5:45.

is the car cranking? do you hear a clicking noise when you try to start the car?
even if your battery is dead, most of the time it has enough charge to turn on your dash lights / blow the ac etc.
IF the car isnt cranking over (clicking when you start it) check your ground on the battery.

Dodging those Corollas
iTrader: (2)
I went and boosted his car. Turns out his positive terminal connector was corroding. It was coming loose. I tried to tighten it, and the bolt cracked in half (eroded from corrosion). So I drove him to Canadian Tire and found a replacement terminal lug connector. Everything's good now

I saved his *** again. Arrived, diagnosed his problem in 10 minutes.
Again his battery terminals on the corolla are dirty (not really corroded this time). The nut and flange tightening the connector is rusted though.
As soon as I applied positive pressure to the terminals, the car had power and started again.
Battery terminal voltage read: 12.80V, which means his battery was good.
Recommendations: New terminals + white lithium grease this time to protect terminals from dirt/rust.
Charged the guy 3 hours minimum labour for roadside assistance!!!
