Angry Need advice!

Hey guys/girls

I have to sell my 8. I really really don't want to(I mean REALLY DON't WANT TO), but some things have kinda "changed" in my life that has forced me to rethink where all my finances are going! But, I have no idea how to sell a car And I was wondering what I can "hope" to get. I have a black GT, strakes, aluminum skuff boards, spoiler, moonroof, and the upgraded warrenty (100k/5 year). And i'm sure you all know the rest! oh and i have 16000km on it, build date of apr 04.

I really don't want to do this but I must.. This is by far the most difficult decision i've had to make. Any tips, advise is much appreciated!

MrJynx

On a lighter note I will buy this car again! So in a year or so if anyone is planning on selling

maybe you could "loan/lease" it to a family member or friend that you trust (ie grandma?) ... anything to hang on to your car!! That way, you don't have the financial worries of the car but still "own" it. Don't ask me how the insurance or any of that stuff will work. I'm just a brainstorm machine.

It is a tough decision.
I debated this when I was selling my miata before getting the 8. If you sell it privately you'll probably have to deal with test pilots. On the other hand a dealer will give it to you up the pooper(price wise) when you do a trade-in. I did the trade-in and lost quite a bit of money. Maybe you could try selling it privately and see how it goes. Autotrader.ca will give you a good idea as to what it's worth.

Go online at www.autotrader.ca and see what the going rate is for similar vehicles to see about pricing, then try to sell it here, and on autotrader. There is also the buy and sell newspaper (free ads.)
You could always sell your extras seperately to make back some of the money on those (if you still have the stock ones to replace them) as you never get any extra on a sale for those usually.
