New Equipment is coming!
Well its taken me 4 months but we finally bought the upgraded version of the tire and wheel equipment that I had at the Mazda dealership! We finally have a Hunter Road Force wheel balancer and Hunter 7310 tire changing machine. I have reconnected with all my old parts suppliers and have an even better tire program now! Woohoooooooooooo I can do my racing buddies ( and mine)tires and wheels I was so lonely without it lol

Hey Al, have you tried marketing your shop/equipment to the enthusiast communities in Toyota like c7performance.com?
Seems like the last bastion of enthusiast Toyota has that are in relatively larger numbers are the Celica owners... too few Supras

Al just to clarify you have bought the equipment or you have it installed ready to go? I ask as I'm in the market to get an alignment done, I just replaced the spring shocks and sways and looking for a good alignment by a place with your Mazda experience

The alignment equipment is already here, its the same as I had at Scarboro. The wheel and tire machines are confirmed to be arriving tomorrow. I have 3 techs here that are rotor heads and love the cars!

I should be doing an alignment as I installed new wheels... would it be the same cost as we had at Scarbo Mazda?

Woodbine Toyota
I dropped by to see Al to get an alignment last week. I liked the idea of dealing with a tech that knows the characteristics of my car. Albey (I hope I have that spelled right) was great. You can scour the forum trying to find the "perfect" setup by the numbers but that is also only going to be a guess. I felt much better talking to Albey about how I drive the car and what I would like and let him determine what was needed. This is what he does, he's good at it and he listens, Albey certainly know a lot more than me. I got a very good symmetrical running baseline setup that both corrected my "stock" setup, better on tire wear as well as improved the setup for when you want it to turn. I look forward to my next track day, but some of the corners I've gone through so far, the car feels very eager to make the turns. Some places you might be made to feel like a fool for wanting to sit in the car for the alignment, Al makes sure you are there to do just that as that is the way it should be done.
I highly recommend Al and Albey at Woodbine Toyota (Yes you do get a lot of looks bringing this car into a Toyota dealer)
Al can use the company of some fellow enthusiasts. REALLY
One last thing, if you haven't been keeping your front alignment bolts lubricated and moving start now, as they cease very easily and quickly.
Thanks Al
