Congratulations on the new '8. If you have not done so you should start your own introduction thread so that members can welcome you properly.

Figured I would pass on some info for those of you who are in the greater Vancouver area.
If you havent checked out the duffy lake thread, check it out, it was great the last 2 years, and since Starlight is from the area, then maybe she will be interested, and pass it on to anyone else with an 8 who is up for going.
Later.

Wow, 11 pages and counting. When I joined I got about 4-5 replies welcoming me. Wonder if it has anything to do with me be a 48 year old guy and Starlight is 26, female and cute. Can't say I blame anyone, though.
Welcome Starlight. Take care of your 8 and it will give you years of enjoyment.

Yes! I agree with dannobre! If YOU (Starlight Angel) start a thread about a Vancouver Meet, I'm positive that the meet will ACTUALLY happen! In fact, judging from the fact that there are now 168 replies to your thread, I think people from all over Canada would fly in (with or without their cars) for this meet...

LMAO You guys are so funny It's nice people like you that make me smile and make this club really worth it. People who drive RX-8's not only have good taste they have wonderful personalities and good spirits about them too!
I love this car :D Perhaps I will plan a meet

If this helps, for all of you who are close to the vancouver area, and you Starlight since you want a meet, this is what we have planned in the near future (April).
https://www.rx8club.com/canada-forum-35/annual-vancouver-duffy-lake-run-81319/
The reason for the longer planning is... this is a day long event.
So, those of you that are here to leghump, but live in the areas, check it out.
And Starlight, its a chance for you to meet more rotary fans, and to see how she handles in the twisties
Its a great drive, and we all hope you can make it out... the more the merrier.
