Congrats bro, about time. Come out to the local mississauga meets or the sherway gardens meet. Why did you get a car sent in from FLO RIDA ? lol

Good to know you took Rotary-RX8's advice!

Replace coils and plugs maybe if its that old with that few miles.... I get about the same cruising at 3000rpm as 2000rpm. As for shifting.... I sit in so much traffic that wehn I get open road the shifts don't happen down low...

Also a decarb will help. Get it done at mazda I think they do it for free cause its under warrenty. They did mine for free. I get about 370-400 kms per tank and that's shifting at 5000rpm.

it's not free.. it's a part of their testing procedures for certain issues though (one of the many steps along the way of seeing if you need a new engine).

But welcome to the club Fera. Plugs, Coils, Wires, complete fluid (brake, rad, etc) flush and you're good to go.

Mileage is more about what you drive then where you shift for normal driving. If you're on locals (or rush hour traffic), you're boned because of all the stop and go. Highway you can get some decent numbers out of the 8.

im pretty sure my plugs and coils are okay.
would my best bet be wasting this tank filling up another and seeing how much better i get?
if not decarb? how much do they charge for that
