Yeah man,
what did you get/year/colour?
I have a VRed '04 with no real body mods, I don't even have tint. I've been spending all my money on other parts. My plates are 303 606 with a "I'd rather be playing badminton" frame. Honk if you see me, there are some rxturds in windsor (excluding the clubbers!)

aww i was being a bit rude assuming if you’re crazy enough to buy a 8 without reading much about it you must also be crazy enough to buy an auto. i apologize, it's just we get so many people on the site that want to just suck some info from us and run away to never be herd of again it gets real tiring. Hope to see you around at the spring meets.

I just hope it wasn't the one that Windsor Mazda had with the woodgrain trim overtop the piano black.
Either way, yes please use this excellent site to get to know more about your car, and even if the previous owner stiffed you with a problem, you've got 87,000 km of engine warranty left.

I've lost count of the cars I have owned in the past forty years and this RX8 GT that I bought a couple of months ago is in the top three cars I have ever owned.
I shopped around for a real nice sports car, I will never buy new again only late model vehicles with full warranty. I had a good budget ( $50 k. ) and I really liked the RX8 but after reading so much negative comments on this forum I looked really hard at the Nissan 350Z instead.
My wife can not drive a standard transmission and I had just about made my mind up on a late model 350 when I saw this 2006 RX8 GT at the local Mazda dealer. It was absolutely loaded, no two tone seats or steering wheel ( which I don't particularly care for ). The car had low mileage and I negotiated a good price which included a 3 year 60k. warranty.
Just a great car, so it's an auto, it has all the power for my needs, drives great, very comfortable so really it's all a matter of personal preference. To each his own indeed.

I think all the hullaballoo is because of the drastic power difference between the at and the mt. Moreover, for a lot of people, myself included, there is absolutely nothing like driving standard. The car feels completely different and you're not just sitting in the car, you're really driving it.

Sorry, no ******* way am I going to attempt to teach my sweet little wife how to drive a car with standard trans. it would be a complete waste of time. I would have a better chance of shoving butter up a cougar's *** with a red hot needle than teaching her to drive.
Anyway I sure love my 8, auto. tranny and all.
