New Vr strakes installed

Hey, I just got my velocity red strakes from RX8Fun. They look great. The paint match is good and they are easy to install.....much cheaper than buying the stock ones from the dealer.

I'll post some pics soon.

Looking good ... did you happen to get a pic from the front end?

How much did it run you in total with shipping and US exchange from the RXFun guys?

I'll take some better pics after work. I was rushed.

I believe it worked out to just under $130US.....the Canadain dollar is up from when I placed the order so you do the new match to convert it.

Rotten, nice job! You should send something this creative to mazda and earn a few Grand for your trouble. The one picture of the first three you sent (kind of mosaic or something) looks like the only thing that's real is the 8. Kind of like everything around it is meting away from the burning VR 8! You have something here my freind! Perhaps a better background with the same effects and its an attention getter for sure! I can see it on a billboard ..." The RX-8, nothing is a real ..."

I didn't have time today to find a nice backdrop...When I find a good one, I'll play around more with the filters in Photoshop. I played around with a few more images...bored tonight.

wow, looks really good!! im still completely up in the air about strakes though....i just dont know if i want them or not...they seem like something so small and insignificant....but these coloured ones make me think about what i should do.

Even before I got the strakes I just knew that they would make a big improvement. I think it brings out the crease line along the side of the car when they are installed. I definitley like the matching color. It kind of reminds me of the detail on that Mercedes. (can't remember the model SLK or SL500?)
