No BEEP at redline
Hey...I am not getting the beep or red light when I hit the redline. Should I be concerned, happy or what? I Reved it up to about 9500rpm just to see if it would come on and nothing. You do seem to lose power around there.
Would it just be a fuse or something like that?
Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated!
Thx!

Mine's an 04 as well, maybe that model/year has it?
Ya hoser if you could and let me know that would be awesome!! Thx!
Just another excuse to redline it
It's not a huge thing, more curious than anything cause it doesn't affect performance at all. I don't mind having it for the track tho, so I don't have to worry about where my revs are at.

LOL...not confused, it must have been added by previous owner. My bad, thought that's the way they came (apologize Footman!) Don't want the light it's kinda gay, was again more curious than anything.
Thanks for your input!!

Nope, I'm sure you didn't. The tach is actually about 200rpms off when you're that high in the RPM range. Fuel cut for the RX8 is set from the factory IIRC around 9200 to 9300 rpms. It could be a bit less but I can't remember.
