No mo ROCKSTAR
As some of you might know that since I'm selling all my parts... yes the lease on the 8 is coming to an end, it's sad to part out all the parts and not gonna be able to enjoy the rotary anymore and suffer the terrible gas mileage... lol
Also got someone to take over the lease on my G35X... great car but not really my style...
this is my new car's snap shot... wonder if you guys know what it is~
Not hard to figure out if you look closely at the front fender...

What's the difference on the seat??

Not much just that the center is suede (sp??) like for grip and the leather is perforated and I think the suspension was enhanced over the standard M3. I will take any M3 :D Just wondering which one you got. Congrats on the new toy. :D

I think I'd still replace the suspension regardless because of the looks and the handling aspect of it. And also prolly put in a racing seat for track days and swap back for daily.... Can't wait to drive this beast, period!!!

Have you check any of the M3 forums to see what stable enhancement you can do? Be sure to show us what you've done to the car when you have it all dialed in. I liked what you did with your 8 can't wait to see what you do on the M3.

Man... I have been spending 4 to 5 hours everyday checking out different Bimmer forums... pretty much have an idea what I'm doing to the car, and also trying to budget myself.... Since the wedding is on the way I have only the money that I sold the parts for to buy parts for the new car.. not a cent more!!! And tell the fiancee the Bimmer came all done up or something otherwise she'd kill me!! LOL

Plus handling on a M is totally different so I hear from the people on Bimmer forums...

M3 is a great choice, great track car, a better overall package than a 335, though you appeared to have no trouble keeping up with one at the MoM event this summer.
The Mosport long track would suit it nicely.

the m3 is also one of my favorites, next to the 8. but, a new M3 is just too expensive for me. and, i've been weary of getting a used one because of the tendency of these cars to be owned by punk teenagers who drive the **** outta them. (i have friends who've been on the receiving end of this.) and, the maintenance costs on the m3 are very high compared to other cars- not to mention gas mileage not much better than our 8s.
i've been dreaming on the bmwusa web site all day... <lol> these are my 2 faves so far.

Suspension, the whole body of any M that's produced have all been enforced and I really like the car... been my dream car since the past few years~

Again the new M3 is very very nice, but it's just outta my range now...
I do agree with you, a good condition babied M3 is hard to come by, but I have checked out the history on the one that I am getting, it was owned by an older gentleman (i'm assuming lol) and the condition of the car is just extremely clean... Looks like a car just came off the truck from factory.. I guess that's also why I'm choosing this one over another one I saw at BMW Toronto with more options...

Nice upgrade man! maybe now i will see you at some of the local BMW meets. theres a bunch of good guys over on maxbimmer but most of them have the e36's or older. none the less i frequent that forum as much as the 8 club.
We have a 06 530 with full ACS kit, will be returning it this august for the new M3. Depending how crazy you wanna go and how deep your pockets are, theres the HPF turbo for the e46, easily you can break into the 500bhp mark with it. I know of 1 guy in Toronto (Fab) with it, on his estoril blue M3. Ive seen that car go at it in person and its scary fast.
