No Shortage of 8's Here...
Well....
I often take a walk around the Dixie Auto Mall after the dealerships have closed; one of the dealerships there is Ontario Mazda, who claim to be a high volume dealer.
This evening I counted EIGHTEEN brand-new-still-in-the-wrapper RX-8s sitting on their lot.
All were GTs. All colours were represented, although they only had one red one.
Think they are getting ready for spring?
Eighteen. EIGHTEEN! Holy crap...
So much for exclusivity

I talked o a rep at Ontario Mazda today... he kept going on that they're the only dealership in Ontario that has RX-8s in stock right now. I had to correct him. Theres like 8 here in St. Catharines, a tiny dealership by comparison.
PS. I know for sure there is 1 black auto on the lot

Oh heck yeah....
I personally wouldn't deal with Ontario Mazda for the sorts of reasons Murray is talking about. They might have the cars, but I find the sales philosophy there less than, er, honourable.
