OOOOOOHHHHHHH...ouch nope I hope to hell I don't do that. Stealership said my coils where gone, so I would imagine to confirm that they would have to take them off, so hope no corrosion and shat. We shall see. Thx for the tip.

HOPEFULLY this weekends install is my used (working) OEM coils. I am getting the BRH upgraded kit, once they can ship me one, then I will be installing that.

You don't need a pickup, rev match-shift your car all the way to Ajax.

Sucks to hear the coils didn't arrive.
I was looking forward to the install.

But we can always do another exhaust.

Hey anyone actually changed wires here before?

They are freakin tight on the coils, any hints at getting them off?

I have a garage...but its in ktown.......the wires are on there well...just wiggle them as you pull them off.......be carefull though....if you are reusing the stock wires they have a spring loaded connector on the inside of the wire connection point.....if it falls out you just have to put it back in before you reconnect the wire...but just dont want you to drop it somewhere in the engine bay.....it will be lost forever.

hey thump, when i did my wires, they were pretty stuck on as well to the tip of the coil...i've found if you kinda "peel" at one side of the rubber seal (part going over the coil connection) you can wedge the tip of you finger under the rubber cap and just go around the entire tip of the coil, after that it will come out nicely...all the heat makes those caps stick on pretty tight!

Well if ppl want, everyone that wants to can come here, we can basically take the whole thing apart so all I'm left with is wires then play some poker after? That way I only have to put the coils back in next week when I get the new ones and that won't be much of a deal after I get the current ones off.

Up to you guys, one way or the other, I'm gonna take it apart so I can swap it quick next week.

Say 3ish since no install? It's late now and I gotta sleep in hehe. Currently it looks like there might be the odd BS kinda challenges.

I have the original coils in my car now YES. I want to take them out, so when the new ones show up I can install them quicker and get her running again. Since Most likely I will have to be doing the install at night.

Are you serious!! Dude why didn't you say that earlier, you could have just shipped them, and I would them right now

Since no comments about today, I'm just gonna go start taking it apart. If anyone wants to drop by give me a shout since I will be outside until the rain starts anyways.
