OEM wheels from the dealership

anyone know how much a set of stock wheels for either the 6 or the 8 go for from the dealer? Im thinking of getting them as winter wheels as well.

Check around, but I had 2 dealers get into a bit of a bidding war and I ended up getting stock 18" RX-8 wheels for $280 a wheel.

My father in law has a red 8 and drove it in the winter last year. He went to prima mazda and got a good deal on performance rims and serious winter tires.

If you need more information.... call prima mazda at 905-850-8111 and speak only with daniel. Tell him peter sent you and that your interested in winter tires along with rims.

No word of a lie ... these rims look better then the stock ones. I'll get a picture for you .

You'd have to really like the look of the stock wheels to buy them for winter wheels - 17" aftermarket wheels are cheaper, (potentially) lighter, and 17" winter tires are cheaper than 18" winter tires. Since you really want narrower winter tires anyway (ie 215/55-17), there aren't many arguments in favour of buying the OEM 18s for winter wheels!

Regards,
Gordon

exactly, im only 22 now, and in 95 we had an FD, i feel so sorry for those cars in toronto, they all have upraded turbos, huge exhausts, and are boosted to SH%T If i had it my way, i wish i could get an FD, just stock, and in great shape. We sold the car in 2000, and to this day i have never seen one in better shape!
