Official Bill 103 news and editorials (rant) thread
I just read this great editorial by Bob McJannett from the magazine Performance in Motion.
The editorial is not long, please take a few minutes to read it.
I hope the scan quality is good enuf.
I'm still steaming over this article suffice it to say it's this kind of **** that really pisses me off.

More editorials one from the Star (I think) written the day after the law was passed and the other from the Orangeville Banner written this weekend.
I have no shame or fear of expressing my complete disgust for Police Officers and before anyone goes off sideways read on.
I guess, for me anyways, that the questions that begs to be asked, is ... ...
"How could anyone is law enforcement continue to do there job and feel good about it when the laws they are asked to enforced are of such draconian nature that Stalin himself would be impressed?"
Seriously people in law enforcement are there from one of two reasons:
1) Wants to protect others and believes that their skills can help create a better society under the laws they have sworn to enforce.
2) Is so lazy and terrible at everything that no so self respecting enterprising business would hire them. Therefore these people become, Police Officers, Teachers or Security Guards
My point is why do police officers continue to enforce laws that are so absurd that it further tarnishes the publics opinion of them. Are the police that blind or "devoted" to their cause that they can't see the forest from the trees?
Believe me I'm not an Anarchist, but neither am I a Communist.
Ontario continues to make new laws to seriously punish speeders instead of using or enforcing existing laws. While crime such as gang violence and murder are on the rise.
The way I see it is that politicians and the police are to frightened to engaged in such truly challenging conflicts. Why would they when there is a terrible community of evil speeders out there.
As far as I can tell no one that has been charged with the Street Racing law has been well street racing. Yes they have been speeding and yes we already have laws against that. So has this law even addressed the phantom problem of street racing?
I would like to close by saying FU to the Politicians the made this law and FU to the Police Officers that are retarded enough to enforce it.
Bunch of morons
Merry f'n christmas

It's the same idea that "Guns kill people"
Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
In this case cars don't kill people, people driving under the influence of being stupid kill people. So how do we fix that? well the solution our politicians came up with: "Let's not fix it, let's capitalize on this, obviously these people have money to burn".
The proper solution is pretty clear... to increase driving safety... help people to learn how to drive safely? *gasp* but that doesn't make money!
Bill 203... is none other.... than the government's way of supporting the expense of the war in Afghanistan. Which in other words.... is politicians paying people, to kill people.

Kudos wcs. But the whole issue is nearly dead in the media. No surprise. Freak'n liberal media + passive and mildly retarded Ontarians = we'll just collectively bend over and grab our ankles and ask for more. How else can anyone explain re-electing McGuinty?
It's even worse for motorcyclists, something as simple like standing on my pegs can get me charged with stunting.
If anyone reading this feels that it's wrong yet you've never called a politician or that fascist ***** Fantino, or written a letter, or doesn't see this as an attack on your personal rights, then you’re a brainless, dazed, deficient, dense, dim, dodo, doltish, dopy, dotterel, dull, dumb, foolish, futile, gullible, half-baked, half-witted, idiotic, ill-advised, imbecilic, inane, indiscreet, insensate, irrelevant, irresponsible, laughable, ludicrous, meaningless, mindless, naive, nonsensical, obtuse, pointless, puerile, rash, senseless, short-sighted, simple, simple-minded, slow, sluggish, stolid, stupefied, thick, thickheaded, trivial, unintelligent, unthinking and witless moron.
Merry Christmas.
