Exclamation Official Spring Install Meet at R.P.M. - April 19th 2008

So when are we having this install meet at R.P.M.? If the shop can get to us about what times are good for them, and forum members can post their dates, we can decide on a date and set up this BBQ meet. I got a few stuff that needs to be installed along with the rest of my brakes.

Established DATE: April 19th, 2008
http://www.rpmperformance.ca/rpmmotorsports.ca/index.html

Cruise Up:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...47,1.2854&z=10
1. Woodbine and 7 Shell Meet - 9:15
2. North and East end -- Fairview Mall - 9:30
3. Drive down to Sauga for Meet 6880 Financial RD. Timmies 10:15
4. Cruise up to R.P.M. -- 11:00

FOOD AND DRINKS: If you want to bring something, bring anything except meat products. Buns, chips, snack, cookies, desserts (none that will melt on the drive up) or drinks (soft and hard).

The cruise line up to RPM will be making one last stop before the shop to buy meat for the days bbq at the local M&M and Sobeys. Since all members will be fair to each other and contribute, were looking at a minimum expense of 10 to maximum of 20 per person. But its doubtful it will be 20, since at the confirmed list of members that would mean a budget of 520. Very doubtful that much will be spent on food and drinks.

lol, no. I just figure its gonna be an install meet. I need to get my exhaust, strut and intake in, along with the rear rotors and pads. DarkBrew needs his suspension done, we could do an install meet.

hmm... could work. I have some brake pads to put on. I'm planning to do it myself but if the time and the price is right I may add a job to that list.

I am also having CAI, Catback, and new brakes installed. I will be leaving my baby for the work. I'm hoping someone can drop me in Oakville on the way back.... although being the passenger is always tough for me

Hahah sweet...how come I wasn't aware of this meet It'd really suck to have you guys show up and me not be there lol.

If you guys want to get together and set a date for everyone to come down and get some work done on your cars, then let me know! I could drag over the BBQ from our other shop and let people cook up some food too if thats what you want to do.

FYI - We are organizing a VERY LARGE Mazda meet right in the Spring, Protege's, Mazda3's, Mazda6's, RX-7's, RX-8's, anything and everything Mazda is more than welcome to come for our 2nd annual RPM Motorsports open house.

But the install meet is cool with me if you want to do that first!

I also can't do the 26th weekend. The 19th would be super duper.

Will there be a discount then? How does RPM motorsport manage to do all those installations for so many RX-8's all in one day?

How much to install that MS CAI?

Who says he's the only one doing the work? I"m pretty sure you guys will have a helping hand installing your stuff.

I'm available any weekend that isn't raining!

Is spring ever going to arrive?!

Neo's got it right, if everyone wants to lend me a helping hand (handing tools, holding parts ect) then there will be a good discount. Wear work clothes.
Our shop labour rate is $75/hour normally I'm sure we can make it more like $40/hour cash....since its going to be a weekend and technically we're not "open" lol.

Dude your work alone is going to take a majority of the time. :P

Also, strut bar? That takes 10 minutes with a socket wrench.

Oh i see that sounds pretty good. I do'nt mind getting my hands dirty helping out with any install. As it'll benefit myself also from the free-learning!!!
