Great meet guys!!

Nice to meet a few new people and see some old ones.

Gecko,
I can't believe how you managed to leave Kingston and beat the locals to the meet point! You don't suffer from "rotary owner" syndrome. lol
I hope you'll be able to make it out for the Niagara cruise.
But please, get some rubber before then!!

I've noticed trying to get a bunch of car owners to shop for food/beverages is next to impossible!! lol
I thought we'll never get out of that Costco!

Thanks to R.P.M. for hosting the event. Business is good!!!
Huge thanks to our pro Chef. Who was generous enough to do the cooking once again. He had some crude ingredients to work with (to his standards that is) but he did a bang up job!!!

I can't believe how many people were test driving other people's vehicles. Loud this, response that. Great day!

Kris,
Too bad the 401 messed up that rim. I hope it doesn't cost too much to straighten out. Although, wouldn't a new rim be a better solution?
Lucky enough our JDM friend had a helping hand.

rx8thunder,
Sorry it took some of us so long to get you to the highway entrance. These guys couldn't decide where to eat.
The car looks really good with the new suspension. You'll be a little louder when you get the exhaust.
Don't bother telling your better half what you're up to.

Can't wait for the Niagara cruise!!

Lates,

P.S. I know a few people had cameras. Lets see some more pics!

Its not a terrible bend, it should be an easy fix... Wheel fix / Carcones charges about 150 with taxes balancing and delivery, so i gotta drop the wheel off tomorrow at Tires23 so they can get it.

It does not warrant a new wheel, i have had wheels re-straightened before. Luckily it was inside of the wheel and not the outside lip.

Forged wheels are great for weight but they cant take abuse.

I nailed it pretty hard, i figure me and QTWRE were doing 140ish and i punched it to 160 and ran over the patch on the road. It was like a blob of tar just sticking up..

I pulle the wheels off today to make sure all of them were okay, no problems... all suspension is okay. Just to get the wheel fixed.

Im crossing my fingers in hopes to get it back for the niagra cruise. it will take 1-2 weeks.

Oh yeah, Jay you're insane.. we were going at "certain 3-digit speeds", and you wrote a text and sent it to me. My first reaction wasn't at the content, but at you doing that. It wasn't like we were going straight in the same lane either... we were changing lanes constantly at those speeds to find a cleanly un'fucked' patch of pavement on 401.

Wish I could have made it out to the meet. I was stuck at work later than the planned 12noon so I just headed up to home after that. Seems it was a really good time though.
