Yeah, anyone here want to get their brake calipers powder coated at RPM? They need to leave the car there for one night. Can I crash at someone's house nearby for one night? (sofa)?

I heard Prospectjtaz was interested, anyone else?

I think, its 50 a wheel, so 200, good price considering the labor.

 

RPM hasnt got back to me, if it is overnight, I might head there on Friday, get stuff done, leave the car, GO transit it back. Maybe Neo or someone local can give me a lift back. Or we could crash a sorority or party at Waterloo, lol.

 

I"m doing brake calipers only. RPM said it's $150 for all 4 calipers. I'm serious about doing this, but I can't do it without forummembers help *you guys*....
I need a ride to crash at someone's place for a night and a ride back there the next day to get it...

 

do you guys know how easy it is to install springs...all you need are 3 sockets, a jack, and some jack stands, itll take a couple of hours to to all 4...and dont forget to preload

Just talked to my buddy, he says he should be in also. So far 13 8s, sweet. Footman what are your asians saying? TurboEight, R888, Rems, Smokinlla, you guys in?

 

I want to go...but I have nothing to install.......well maybe a clutch line, but thats it.....plus its a 3 hour drive....hmmm....have to see what my schedule is like.

You dont need to have something to install, come out for the fun and the cruise. Its gonna be a great meet, the last one sure was. Let us know when you can, you could meet up with Footman, I, proficientone, TurboEight (if hes coming) at the the 404 and hwy 7 meet location, or meet up with us in Missauaga, your pick.

 

prospectjtaz, looks like it's just you and I doing the powdercoat caliper.. how are you going to get home? can I just crash at yours? I promise I won't pull off no Jeffrey Dahmer as Leesha thought I would.

 

If you want I think its possible, I live in Markham, or if you want to trek it back to Markham with me, I could drive you home at night after we get home. Neo was available to drive me back when I thought I was going to do my calipers, in the case of both of us, no room in his 7, unless we just take it hahah, but ya in that case I could arrange a ride with another member that lives in Richmond Hill, I'll ask him this weekend, if hes okay with it.

 

what time are you guys meeting at??? is there a specific spot at the 404/7 location that you are meeting at??

 

Sometime in the morning, probably 10 or 11, not sure yet, still figuring it out. The specific location is the Shell Gas Station at the Intersection of Hwy 7 and Woodbine Ave, you'll see it when you get off the exit on 7 from 404.

 

I live right off the 401 at Scarborough Town Center, so it would make no sense for me to meet you there this time....

Perhaps change the meet location to fairview mall, the interection of 401 and 404, cause that's where we'll eventually need to be anyways.

We can meet up at Fairview Mall and take it from there.
Meet on the North side of the mall in front of the Sportsworld (I hope that's still there..)

 

Alrighty, fair enough. I'll meet up with profientone and TurboEight at the Shell Station by 7 and Woodbine and take 404 down to meet you guys. Gecko, can meet us there instead. More sensible.

 

We should get off at an exit by 427 and 401 so we can meet up with Agent 008. Thus at that point we should have one seven and six eights.
