Ok....my arm has been twisted enough.....I'm in!......have to replace my shocks.....unfortunately I have to go the oem route right now...due to selling and buying a new home currently. Maybe rpm can do an alignment for me afterwards??? Ok, so prospectjtaz....the meeting spot is the shell station at 404/hwy 7 ....just give me a time. thanks.

Gecko, I don't have a socket wrench toolset, I only have a screw driver set. Is that enough? Thanks for helping me install it. I will assist you in doing it, as long as I have someone to guide me then I can learn it to do it for the next time. Do I need to reset the ECU or anything like that after the installation?

I will bring some tools.......I am not fully up to date with whats all happening.....from what i gather we are all driving to a few meeting locations and then driving up to rpm for a bbq??? If thats the case.....then I can bring something for the bbq?? just dont know what everyone else is bringing? anyways, footman, you can do most of it with a phillips or flathead screw driver. You will need a hex wrench for the maf sensor, and a wrench and socket for the screws for one part that attaches to the frame behind the bumper. I can brig some tools. I didn't reset my ecu after the intake but it can't hurt.

Thanks Gecko... I'm putting my car into your trusting hands!!! We don't need to lift the car up right? I can bring a hex wrench set and the screwdrivers. I recall from my adventures with the MAF sensor that the hex size for that is 9/64", a very NON-standard hex size.. took me awhile and I finally had to buy the entire SAE metric/imperial hex set just to find that 9/64" piece.

no worries footman......I have basically taken my car completely appart except for the engine block.....I have done all the work on my car myself, minus the clutch....just because I wanted to retain my warranty......otherwise I would have done it. anyways, it will be an easy install.......and you will remember why you liked the intake so much again.....just need some details on a meetingf time and I will be set. I will bring my 300 peice tool kit and some other things i have used just in case people need them.

I was thinking of putting the intake I got in this sunday, maybe I will hold out till the RPM meet, gotta see if I can transport an intake, a strut and a exhaust in the car. Gecko, meeting place changed. We'll be meeting at the fairmall. Take 401 west from where you are, and take the on ramp for the 404 north, then get off right away at the sheppherd exit. You wanna go West on Sheppherd, and you'll see the mall right there on teh northwest corner.

Holy crap! You're coming from Kingston to go to Fairview mall and then back again???

Dude, we can always meet you half way! No need to go all the way out to come back again.

There's a Timmies we always rendezvous off Centienial prkwy in previous years we do a Niagara cruise. It's usually our starting point for a "cruise".
Does anyone have a mapped out area of the roads?? I can never remember...

I pmed RPM regarding the food and drinks. Just waiting on a reply, it was a meet proposed by us, so I guess we would be covering food, not sure yet. I'll be bringing the new Heinken draught keg, the one with the CO2 compressed tap, 5 litres of glory.

Prospectjtaz can you find out what time RPM is okay for us to all show up ? We can work backwards from that and determine the times required to meet people. The reason why I don't pm him myself is that it's always better to have one point of contact to get info.

There should be two meet points. Fairview mall for the east/north people.. and then we have to join up somewhere along the 401 to meet with the Sauga/oakville people and go in one big-*** convoy of cars.

Let me know Prospectjtaz. The 19th is coming, we should plan as early as possible.

I'm tempted to bring some chinese BBQ pork (two styles), just so we have some snacks to pick on when we arrive. It's all cooked already, and I'll bring a box of toothpicks.. it's a very asian thing to do to pick at it like that. hahahah

Pros,

I'm sorry about that. I completely had Kingston and Kitchener the other way around.
Gecko, definitely meet us at Fairview mall. You can stop and take a break this way.
Here's the map. As Pros said, just take the 404 north and as soon as you get on the ramp the Sheppard exit is right there. From the map you can see how to get to the meet point. I marked it with a red dot. I outlined the exit for those who come off the 401. Forgive the crude outline. I don't have the steadiest hand. It's on the lower level so don't go up or anything. Just keep going around until you hit the back. You'll see us there.

What time are we meeting up to make it out to RPM??

LoL, I have no idea about the time. RPM hasnt got back to me yet, I should really call them, instead of PMing. I need my brakes done, which might take an hour at most I think, I maybe wrong, I figure we gonna have lunch and chill there. What do you all think of being at RPM by 11. Is that too early, I think last time me and Neo met up at the Shell Station at around 12 30. I think we got to RPM, due to crazy rain that day, by 2, 2 30. I rather get there earlier, do an install or two, light the bbq up, grill away, booze away, have time to sober up, and get back. Last time we left RPM at like 2 or 1 I believe, due to the afterparty. Since I need to get my brakes done, CAI (possibly strut and catback) , qtwre mentioned pads, DB is suspension, Footman is CAI, Gecko had a pulley.. Maybe we could get the heavy installs done prior to the bbq. So I say we try to get to RPM by 11 or 12, is that too early? In that case, Fairview meet should be at 10 11? And Sauga meet at 10, 10 30? Neo, what do you think? Also keep in mind this is Saturday, that fricken mall is gonna get jammed by 12. Malls open by 10 ususally, major department stores by 9. I don't want have to deal with erratic Saturday shoppers. I think its best to meet at Fairview by 9 45 10, leave meet sauga guys at 10 30 10 45ish, and get drive up to RPM to meet around 11 30, 12ish.

Fairfiew Mall meet at 9:30am.

Neo, can you tell us a good gas/station stop over meet along the 401 heading west (like those service station stops) to meet up with the "Westend-ers"?

We shall meet there at 10am.

Arrival at RPM: 10:30am.
Installs begin immediately throughout the day.
BBQ light up: 12:00pm

Only two conditions on this, an okay from RPM and an okay from Gecko, our meet time at Fairview would mean Gecko leaving his place early that day, like 8ish. Gecko are you alright with that.

Westenders meet:
Maybe the meeting point from last years annual.

Tim Hortons
6880 Financial Dr Mississauga,ON L5N 6Y5 CA

We could get a small coffee or iced cap or whatever at this point. I expect by then we should have myself, footman, neo, proficentone, agent008, qwtre, darkbrew, nate340, rxsmooth, kris, rx8thunder at this point. Spd frk will either meet us here or at Fairview depending on if hes coming from stouffville or oakville. Zerobio and BrianGT will be meeting us at RPM.
